We didn’t expect 5-star luxury, but at least basic safety. On the first day inside our room, we lost two pairs of shoes — not outside the door, but inside. We reported it at least twice a day until checkout, and every time the staff acted like it was “the first time.” The manager even asked if we were sure we lost them there — as if we came barefoot thousands of miles just to visit this place. The tents are tiny, dirty, with insects and bed bugs, and not even a socket to charge your phone. Worst stay in Sorrento — never again.

Attention PUNAISES DE LIT !!! Notre tente suspendue était infestée de punaises de lit (nous ne nous en sommes pas rendus compte tout de suite…). Nous avons de piqûres sur tout le corps et nos sacs en sont sûrement infestés ! C’est une honte et il semblerait que le camping ne fait rien pour arrêter ce problème ! Nous essayons de les contacter par e-mail mais pas de réponse de leur part ! À fuir !!!

We had a horrible experience with bed bugs. On the first night, my husband woke up at 3am covered in bites. We turned on the light and found bed bugs crawling all over the bed and tent. We were moved to another tent — but anyone who understands bed bugs knows that just changing accommodation doesn’t solve the problem. We had to wash all of our clothes immediately (4 loads at €5 each), which we had to pay for ourselves, and then fumigate our things with spray we bought from the on-site shop, which sells bed bug spray because they clearly know it’s a recurring issue. After searching the reviews online, I couldn’t believe it: there are bed bug reports dating back to 2010. The management copy and paste the same response to every complaint, pretending it’s about mosquitoes or ants, and never once mention bed bugs. Absolutely shocking. We showed them video footage of the bed bugs and pictures of the bites. The manager was rude, didn’t believe us, and eventually refunded only one night and the laundry. That doesn’t come close to the damage caused: we lost days of our holiday, had to discard belongings, and I’ve now developed a reaction too, bad enough to make me cancel work. Bed bugs travel easily, and by ignoring the problem, this campsite is helping spread them across Italy and beyond as people leave and continue their travels. This is a public health issue. We deserve compensation for the stress, financial loss, health impact, and time wasted. Unfortunately we are unable to post a video of the bed bugs on booking.com but will upload a picture. I will try upload the video of bedbugs on google review. Until then, search this place’s reviews for “bed bugs” and read the replies before booking . You’ve been warned.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The place has a Bed Bug infestation, and has had for over 15 years - looking back at past reviews. I was eaten alive, I awoke on the first night (and subsequently only night, due to deciding to leave the hotel) at 3 am very itchy, I turned the light on and to my horror saw bed bugs crawling all over me. I want to make very clear, these were bed bugs NOT MOSQUITOS OR ANTS. The campsite is well aware of this infestation as the staff told me they are aware of the problem and have been for sometome. This is a public health hazard. So please I ask you for your own sake, do not stay here.

Despite this being a beautiful location, the cleanliness and service was below my standards. There are ants all over the place and mold in the showers and on the curtains. Unfortunately we found bedbugs in our beds and the staff moved us to another cabin. Unfortunately the room we were moved to ALSO had bedbugs. At this point this instantly raised concern and we didn’t feel comfortable paying $800 Canadian for an unhygienic sleeping quarters. Staff was beyond rude and didn’t have the slightest bit of empathy towards our situation. The manager didn’t believe us and accused us for being “cheap”, lying, and just wanting a refund despite showing him the bites all over our arms and legs AND showing him pictures and videos of the bugs in our beds. He then requested to go back to our room to see if the bugs were really there and by no surprise they were. He then pretended he didn’t see them and I watched him crush a bed bug with his fingers and say “where are they? There’s no bed bugs”. Honestly the grossness of the situation was one thing but the behaviour we received following the incident was so shocking. The staff is rude and the cleanliness of the facility is not worth my money no matter the location. Spend a bit more money and go somewhere else.

BED BUGS - when we checked in to our cabin there was an ant infestation and bugs over the bed, told the reception and they sent a cleaner who simply changed the bedding and sprayed cleaner. Told this was the only cabin available by the cleaner. After 3 days I had clusters of bites all over my arms and legs and now have a bed bug infestation. DO NOT STAY HERE

I’m not entirely sure where to start with this as the list is long. DO NOT BOTHER BOOKING HERE. SAVE YOUR MONEY! To begin with upon arrival they couldn’t not find my booking and were insisting that it didn’t exist. Once arriving to our cabin we were greeted by the lovely stench on mould. Which was located in the bath room. The room was hot and sticky! There were ants everywhere. We went to the reception and complained about the smell of mould and the mould in our bathroom. Their solution to removing the mould was to just put silicon over it! This took them two days to do this: it was revolting. And not hygienically safe for anyone! The rooms were tiny and hot and bed sheets were not clean. To put the cherry on top we woke up with bed bugs. Which resulted to a 50€ dr fee and an additional 500€ fee to get the hell out of there and stay somewhere safer! I’m highly disappointed. I WANT A REFUND FOR THIS. IT WAS NOT WORTH ALL THE HEALTH PROBLEMS TAHT CAME ALONG WITH IT. I wouldn’t even let an animal live in that. I am embarrassed that I spent that amount of money to stay there. The staff were rude and when we spoke to them about it being filthy in Italian they were taking the piss out of us. Unfortunately for them I speak Italian and understood the whole conversation. SAVE YOUR MONEY ANF DO NOT STAY HERE!

The shower had mould, when we asked to get it cleaned they were too lazy and said they would ‘cover it with silicone’ which they took two days to do, ants in the bathroom and bed/bed bugs, paid around $1000 australian to stay in a cabin that was super far from everything. Definitely would not recommend unless you are staying for one night potentially would rather sleep in a tent. Service was average as they were forgetful aswell as speaking bad about us in italian when we asked for our room to be cleaned. Wasn’t allowed to get extra towels when they didn’t provide enough for 3 girls. Had to book somewhere else as this was not hygienic. Just spend your money and stay somewhere a lot nicer. Paid cheaper for a airbnb than here.

Would not stay here ever again. We were treated poorly, we had issues with our room with bugs in the bed and the staff told us to go buy powder to fix it and said it’s our issue to deal with. The photos of the showers and facilities on the website do not look like that in person. They are disgusting and dirty. You need to pay for a swim cap to use the pool. Please keep in mind that if you are looking to camp than this is the ideal place for you. Please also keep in mind that you will need to get a bus each
