Hostel 20 Bayonne

bugs bit my ankles all night: fleas? bed bugs? awful. if that isn't enough, the bunk beds are too short to sit up in and have a dangerous sharp exposed metal shelf horribly situatwd to smack into in the dark. the shower sprayers don't have a dock to set the head up overhead so you hold it or awkwardly tuck it behind the handles while it sprays everywhere, there is no shelf in the shower and only one hook for your clothes and towel with a completely wet floor from the last user. this place was crazy loud (fine--expected: last night of Feria), hot (no ac) and the men in my room (i woke to find they put me in the male dorm despite my being obviously female) chattered and joked for 20 minutes when they came in at 3:30am. the workers (except one nice Argentinian guy) seemed vaguely irritated/put out from beginning to end...though i suppose the last week of Feria is a lot for them, so maybe this is not their usual? Hostels don't have to be terrible. This one needs help.

punaises de lit, odeur horrible, petit déjeuner médiocre, personnel qui nous prend pour des cons en mentant à propos de la Clim. Pas de climatisation des moustiques et une chambre à 27 degrés en plein mois de juin seulement !!!! on a pas dormis de la nuit l’horreur

Très bien placé, staff aimable et professionnel. Malheureusement nous avons eu des punaises de lit dans notre dortoir

Muy simpáticos, pero en mi cama y cuarto habían chinches. (Punaise du lit!!) El recepcionista no supo manejarlo, perdí el viaje ya que tuve que volver a mi ciudad lavar todas mis cosas.
