Absolutely one of the worst hostels I’ve stayed in. The rooms were cramped, damp, claustrophobic and constantly hot with barely any ventilation. The whole place smelled bad. Showers and toilets were always filthy, no matter the time of day. Reception didn’t care when we raised concerns. I don’t expect luxury, but basic cleanliness and comfort shouldn’t be too much to ask. Wouldn’t stay again or recommend
Very small room, almost no space to store the luggage. Room is either very cold or smells weird. Toilets and shower super small, the toilets are almost always dirty. Beds have no curtains.
My room smelled moldy and all my stuff did too after 3 nights. Very nasty. The bathroom was moldy too. Staff was relatively nice. My roommates were all 30+ Slept good though.
They did not reimburse my 50sgd deposit. There is no way to email them. How am I supposed to call them on international number after leaving singapore.
The staff was way to unfriendly, truly unacceptable. It felt like I and others got punished with every question we asked. She probably lost my flight ticket for the last day didn’t seen to care about it all.. perhaps she had a bad day the bed were good showers a bit small
They treated the guests like animals. Not respect all. And terrible to sleeping, too much noises nobody from my room could sleep. So stressed! Never more.....
The location is good which is the only reason to book here. The staff seem to hate their lives and they entered my room 3 times between 24:00 and 1:45. When they entered the room to let people in they turned on all the lights (totally unnecessarily), were absolutely yelling (woke me up every single time) and made no effort to let people sleep. Each time they came in the room they were so disruptive it was almost laughable except that I had a flight at 9:00. This is my first bad review of hostel
The receptionist was very rude. Doesn’t know how to speak, very arrogant. Making fun of people who don’t understand English. Cleanliness was missing. Breakfast was for name sake. Looks like staff was dependent on it. Best is avoid
One of the worst hostels I stayed in. Cheap for Singapore
Het was absoluut niet schoon in het hostel, de wc’s waren heel vies. De douches waren “oke”. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en de locatie was goed. Mijn kamer had geen raam en was heel klein en ook niet echt schoon. Het is prima voor een nachtje, maar je wil hier geen 4 dagen overnachten.
The staff was very friendly and the location was good. my room had no window and was very small and also not really clean. it is fine for one night, but I do not want to stay here for 4 days.

really bad ventilation in the room. even with the ac and ceiling fan, it was difficult to sleep as I was hot.
Sadly, I didn’t my stay here tbh. The staff were kind, but I felt that overall, the place lacked cleanliness. My bed had stains on them, same with another girl in my dorm. The bathrooms were pretty messy too. If you’re looking to save money, this is one of the cheaper options in Singapore, and it is in a great location. I also had my credit card charged without my knowledge (for the cost of the stay). Found out at check-out. I purposely took out cash prior though since it was stated to do so

muy mala experiencia, los baños estaban sucios, yo seleccione habitación con mujeres y ponían la ropa qlavaban en mi cama, la mayoría son chinos, no son educados, son groseros, me sentí intimidada y observada todo el tiempo, y lo peor fue que no me dejaban dormir por qué tenían su teléfono con altavoz... mi último día eran casi 1 de la mañana y una mujer parecía que discutía por teléfono (por más de 3 horas) y no pude descansar !!! todl eso lo reporte y nunca me ayudaro.la ubicaci...
Bad experience, bathrooms were dirty, I select room with women and they put the clothes qlavaban on my bed, most are Chinese, they are not polite, they are rude, I felt intimidated and watched all the time, and the worst was that they didn't let me sleep because they had their phone on speakerphone... my last day it was almost 1am and a woman seemed to be arguing on the phone (for more than 3 hours) and I couldn't rest !!!

An average hostel overall, but the location is so good. Close to the Chinatown MRT and also walkable to many other touristy spots/areas!
Une auberge pas terrible mais pas chère pour Singapour. Les chambres sont très petites et étouffantes, pas d'intimité, lits très proches. Un espace commun minuscule qui ne donne pas plus envie. Des toilettes sales. Bref, peu mieux faire mais pour le prix c'est faisable...
A not terrible hostel but not expensive for Singapore. the rooms are very small and stifling, no privacy, beds very close together. a tiny common space that doesn't make you want to go any further. toilets for sale. in short, little better to do but for the price it's doable...
Does the job! Clean and perfect location! Not a social hostel whilst we were there but used the hostel app to meet others in Singapore
There are mixed (male&female) showers and toilets. This should have been previously communicated. Doors don’t lock in toilets. The female only dorm that I was im is max 4x3m for 6 girls (3 bunk beds with 50cm between them). There was no window, AC was on the whole time blowing on the top beds. No mirror, chair, closet, cupboard - nothing in the room. So the only sitting option is in a kitchen area (also smaller room) with 12 chairs and that’s it. PRO: location and the guy at reception was ...
Bof, pas de fenêtre dans la chambre, mais chambre propre SDB / WC exiguë pas très propre J’ai réservé ici car il y avait indiqué local bagage dans la description et enfaite pas du tout, les bagages sont entre la porte d’entrée et l’accueil, pas safe n’importe qui peut entrer et prendre une valise, et en plus on circule plus avec les valises Pas de cuisine pour se faire à manger mais ça c’est ok
Bof, no window in the room, but a strictly clean SDB/WC room not very clean Jai booked here because there was indicated local luggage in the description and not made at all, luggage is between the front door and the reception, not safe anyone can come in and take a suitcase, and besides you circulate more with the suitcases No kitchen to cook yourself dinner but that's ok
Overall, a super convenient location. So close to the metro and chinatown. Standard hostel. Bunk beds were a little creaky and bathrooms were so hot that it almost felt like I did not shower since I got so sweaty by the time i got dressed. The steam is trapped in there. Good value for the money. Clean, secure rooms. Check in and check out were hassle free.
The location is good and when a staff member is present they are very helpful. The ‘emergency’ contact number supplied had a long wait time for a reply & after gave me a different number to contact once I had a response. Hostels are random in who you have in a dorm room & availability of beds but me and my boyfriend were put in a dorm of only older men with no privacy curtains. As the only female I felt unsafe & uncomfortable, so we decided to leave. Should be a future allocation considerati...
Overall good place to stay. Beds comfy, air conditioned. In a really great area. Only warning is for any English speaking westerners hoping to meet other westerners in the hostel to go out with, the hostel is predominantly older Chinese tourists. Really nice hostel all round but keep in mind if you’re a younger traveller hoping to meet similar people.
Not very social, small common are. Dorm was ok, self-checkin was nice and got key to a locker.
This hostel places men in female only dorms. We did not notice until in the morning, when we had already changed in there. When we try to contact them they do not react and they are not available. Horrible experience.
It's good for Singapore. It's a basic hostel but it's clean,the common room and dorms are air conditioned. Only two sinks in the bathrooms, some toilet stalls are cramped. But it's in a good location in Chinatown a 10 minute walk from Maxwell food center and MRT station as well as a 5 minute walk to the Chinatown MRT station.
