Hostel Dioklecijan Delux

The AC didn't work during my entire stay, which quickly became uncomfortable when the outside temperature was 35°C and there were no windows in the room. The Wifi almost never worked. There are no common areas or kitchen, just a refrigerator and a microwave in the entry. They said you could use dishes, but the number dwindled day by day, and after 4 days, there wasn't even any cutlery left. My locker didn't work at first and then they simply broke into it. Staff was friendly but rarely there.

Don’t book this hostel. The beds have a size like for children. You can’t sit upright and if you’re taller than 180cm the bed will be too short for you. There are no sockets at the beds, everything really dark, restricting and bleak. The shower is like falling apart and partly without warm water. HORRIBLE! AVOID AT ALL COST! My friends and I had booked to stay here for a week, we arrived in the evening so the receptionists had left the key for us to check in ourselves. When we got to the room it was disgusting! There were 4/5 bunk beds crammed in a TINY room with all the beds nearly touching one another. As we planned on staying for a whole week, it was advertised that there was a kitchen but there was only 1 small fridge that sat in the middle of the hall way with no plates, oven

I had one of the worst nights of my life. The hostel itself wasn’t that bad, very faraway from the citycenter though and in a sketchy area, but the biggest problem were the guests. At the same time with me there were a big group of children and these old greepy men. They had to call the police to take one of the men away because he was acting weird. The property was weird and smelled bad, lockers were very small. The only good thing was the nice reception girl.

Horrible. We were two guests and they sent us to a room where only one bed was available. The stuff had to ask the other guests whether some beds were available or not! It was a disaster. They saw an empty bed in another room, so they sent my friend to that other room. But everything seemed just so disastrous.

The staff were very nice and they had no problem accommodating us when we asked to switch rooms, which we appreciate. However, the first room we were in was 6 beds and so small only one person could stand at a time. the lockers aren’t big enough to fit anyone’s bags so the floor was already full of bags with no standing room. It was not even possible to access your bed or locker unless everyone is lying down. mattresses were the worst I’ve seen in a hostel. About 15mins on the bus to downt...

There was no kitchen, as mentioned, but there was a fridge, plates, glasses etc., so it was still possible to eat your own food. A bit unclean perhaps, but it definitely worked. Good bus connections to the city and a Lidl just around the corner – very convenient! Also, a beautiful beach was just a 15-minute walk away, which was a big plus.

Der Mann der dort arbeitet redet SO VERDAMMT LAUT!!! Als wir es ihm sagten wurde er glaube ich sauer und hat noch lauter geredet. Wie kann man nur so wenig Feingefühl haben? Er hat alle aufgeweckt in unserem Zimmer. Wir sind aus Not für eine Nacht geblieben und dafür hat es auch gereicht. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung aber das Badezimmer ist wirklich renovierungsbedürftig. Die Toilette ist nicht fest am Boden und kann einfach angehoben werden. Das Mädchen war sehr lieb.

ok for a room to sleep. fridges but no catering facilities. a fair distance from town so required a bus in which doesnt run late.

Location is not good at all. Showers and staff are OK.

BED BUGS😭 was there from 15-22 and found bedbugs. Was told to go to a different bed within the room. I hate to complain as I know how hard bedbugs are to remove but I hate them bugs.

It was a very fine hostel! We only stayed for 1 night but it was nice! Sweet staff and pretty close to the beach and very close to the bus station which could take you to the center in 8-10 minutes. AC in the room and bathrooms were quite clean!

Un hostel loin du centre où on ce sent pas en sécurité. La porte d’entrée reste ouverte, il n’y a pas de place pour mettre son sac dans le casier et le propriétaire rentre quand il veux dans les chambres sans prévenir. Je ne vous conseil pas cet hostel !

I got free early check-in, very much appreciated. The manager in the hotel doesn't speak English but you can ask for help on the phone and they answer quickly. Close to bus stop to go to the city center.

Excelente ubicación, hay transporte público frente al hostel. Las camas super cómodas, ropa de cama y toallas limpias. Antes de llegar me dieron toda la información detallada de cómo llegar al hostel desde el aeropuerto, con buenos consejos y disposición. Had a good stay, the room was clean, friendly staff, and not too far from the beach! The beds aren’t the coziest, but I’d def come again!

Las habitaciones son limpias, las taquillas permiten dejar tu mochilla si es pequeña y un par de cosillas. Los baños están en perfecto estado dentro de las habitaciones y están limpios. La única pega es que la manta que te dan es muy chiquitita y no cubre todo tu cuerpo. Los espacios en común son dos sofas cerca de la entrada, perfecto para esperar un poco pero no tanto como para crear un ambiente común al albergue.

Es un hostal cómodo, bien conectado con el centro y limpio. Tiene muchos servicios comunitarios como café y agua que se han agradecido mucho.

Clean hostel however was not worth anywhere near the price I paid (50€ a night) the location is outside of city center you need to bus to the center, the lockers were a weird shape that I could only fit my backpack, and the hot water didn’t last long.

Staff was very accommodating to me! I am thankful for them making my travels easy and convenient! I would 100% stay here again!

Noi abbiamo soggiornato in una camera privata. Un pochino piccola, ma comoda e pulita. Gestori molto gentili e disponibili.

We stayed in the hostel for 8 nights and had the loveliest time! The hostel is located outside of the city centre but is a 15min bus ride or 5 min car ride away. There’s a nearby beach which is only a 10-15 walk away and multiple supermarkets and pharmacies within walking distance. The only downside was the lack of kitchen & wifi in the rooms. The place was well kept and thoroughly cleaned everyday. The staff was welcoming, accommodating and helpful and all in all it was a pleasant experience.

The staff were lovely, extremely accommodating and friendly. Nice toilet facilities and air conditioning, although the location and kitchen facilities leave something to be desired. It was a nice place to wake up. Would recommend to a friend.

The hostel itself is OK, the location a little far from the city center, it requires you to take a short bus ride. It looks close to the beach, but there is no straight way down, and its quite steep. While the neighborhood is not very touristy or animated, there are some good restaurants across the main street. The facilities were ok and clean, but the lack of a kitchen or common room makes it difficult to socialize with other guests. the receptionist (Angela) is lovely and very helpful.
