Zebra Crossing

Emplacement à proximité de lieux d'intérêt. Cependant 0 niveau ambiance au sein de l'établissement. Déçu surtout lorsqu'ils organisent des évènements qui n'ont pas lieu avec aucune communication ! je ne reviendrai pas dans cette auberge malgré son emplacement

Mostly longterm-staying locals. Hard to meet other travelers here. Also the bed didn't feel clean or comfortable at all. Bunk beds didn't even have leaders.

the most unironically oddball group of people you can find in a hostel environment, by 5:30 after a near constant steam of people waking up and doing who knows what, shaking the entire room, with the lights on (after I was forced to turn off my reading light the night before), I was looking up last minute accommodation for my last night.

-Staff excellent, really very helpful & lovely -Location central, easy access everywhere -BUT sandwiched between 2 main roads looping-noisy with heavy goods vehicles all day -Social areas read nice but rooms surround it, so again noisy -only 1 Kitchen /1 hob/1fridge & very limited cupboard space between everyone. -Laundry service - good & prompt -Travel centre really helpful -2 lock coded gates,secure from street -Inside room door/windows not secure -Good bathroom ratio -total age mix

Hostel ist für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Ordnung, würde es aber nicht sonderlich weiter empfehlen. Zimmer sind nicht so doll, das gemeinschaftliche Badezimmer auch nicht. Dusche hat teilweise geschimmelt. Was mich aber am meisten ärgert, während meines Aufenthalts das ungeklärter Weise Klamotten (Pulli) aus meinem Zimmer verschwunden ist…

Staff was very nice and super helpful, however upon arrival I didn’t know about there will be no power at the place. I know the the whole country has power problem however for such business there should be urgency to have a generator.

Lovely hostel with a great view on Table Mountain . Very nice helpful staff, special mention for Katrin, who helped me a lot to organize my holidays in the region of Cape Town. I will go back for sure if in Cape Town.

A nice and easy place to stay, loved the little garden and the staff was really nice!

I enjoyed staying at Zebra Crossing. There was a nice small Kitchen and it had a pretty good social environment . The load shedding wasn’t expected but I endured. The problem did seem when a couple of older men living there in the front room that were not considerate and rude and disrespectful to other guest staying there.

I would definitely reccomend Zebra Crossing, the receptionist that helped me Carlen and the other lady are both friendly and make you feel at home, from the time you set foot until you leave, you'll feel at home. There are nice showers and communal areas that you can access and make use of. The place is amazing!

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. It's very relaxed atmosphere, staff are great- always very friendly and accommodating. The place is clean and has a nice cafe for breakfast. The location is great. Its Close to shops and key attractions. I stayed here for 1 wk, then did the garden route and came back to this hostel for a few days. I would have no problem coming back here again. Perfect spot if you don't want a party hostel, and looking for something more chilled.

Really nice place, great staff, clean rooms, even a nice cafe inside. Super close to Kloof street, safe area. There are a lot of long term guest at this accommodation, and many down and out on their luck. Very kind people. This is by no means a party hostel, so if that's what you want (like me!) then it's perfect :)

it was great to stay at Zebra crossing. Excellent location and fantastic staff. The living room was also great for working, just a bit cold/damp in June. Some guests were quite loud at night but I used Ira a hostel after all. Good WiFi too and great hot showers.

Certainement un des hôtels les plus sympas que j'ai pu faire. Il y a une atmosphère de "famille", les hôtes s'occupent de tout et vous accueillent à bras ouverts. Ils sont à l'écoute, de très bons conseils, ... Une ambiance sympathique, des gens adorables, un hôtel propre et très agréable (cuisine, coin salon, espace extérieur, etc.)

THIS HOSTEL IS AMAZING. They also have an amazing cat named midnight so keep an eye out!

It was a nice place to stay. Walking distance to the city center. Staff members were very friendly.

Zebra Crossing is a great place to relax with a lovely courtyard and common areas, and a quiet, peaceful vibe. The staff are wonderful - always friendly and willing to help with anything, and good for a chat about anything too. The hostel is just a couple of minutes walk from Kloof Street's bars and restaurants, and a short car ride away from almost all other places of interest in the city. I will definitely return here when next in Cape Town.
