There was Bed bugs in my matress. And the the dorm was really unhygienic.

Good location and price and very friendly reception. though poor maintenance, beds not allocated so big mess and subject to arguments, no AC in the room where 6p sleep together?? Come on.

Helpful staff and friendly vibes with some good organised activities theough the week. Location is perfect if you want to go to the waterfront on foot. Felt secure and appreciate the all girls dorms. Bed and bathroom clean and comfy. I struggled to sleep because I had one of the beds that was in the same room as the “kitchen” which means you are getting the noise and light each time anyone comes in or needs water. These are the same price as those in more separate areas

Das Hostel liegt direkt gegenüber vom Stadion. Am Spieltag fand ich die Gegend nicht so vertrauenswürdig. Abgesehen von dieser Ausnahme ist es eine schöne und zentrale Gegend. Zimmer sind großzügig und mit eigener Küche und eigenem Bad ausgestattet. Die Sauberkeit im Schlafzimmer hätte etwas besser sein können...

I really enjoyed my stay here in the single room. Well decorated and a nice vibe. Staff were very helpful and kind.

For the South African standard, they were not friendly at all. I felt disappointed, I wait some months to see if I change my mind but I don’t have good memories from the treatment back in December. I would not come back here.

Great staff and location. However the self catering kitchen is in the bedroom. So you have to make your breakfast amongst the snoring and wind of other guests. It is not a Hostel. More a hotel. If that is what you want it is very nice

Prima plek, maar als soloreiziger/ backpacker zou ik dit hostel niet aanraden. Veel (lokale) mensen wonen tijdelijk in dit hostel waardoor het moeilijker was om als backpacker contact te maken of gelijkgestemden te vinden. Er werden wel activiteiten georganiseerd maar deze beginnen of te laat of worden niet duidelijk over gecommuniceerd of het doorgaat. De douches zijn schoon, de bedden slapen fijn en het receptie personeel is top en gastvrij.

Great place to explore Cape Town from !

There was Bed bugs in my matress. And the the dorm was really unhygienic.

It was good. I went there on a Saturday night and there weren't many people so couldn't rate the atmosphere, but the property was lovely, clean and the staff very warming and welcoming

I had a great time here, loved the location, and the staff were great. I'd recommend hiring a scooter which is really reasonable. A special shout out to Berneth who was immensely helpful, and so accommodating even when my flight was cancelled. We had a slight issue with towels, but swiftly resolved. I'd say that the social element in evenings could have been improved a little for a solo traveller, but putting that down to the time of year, as there were more families at new year.

Not a bad thing to say about this place. Clean, great location, set up and layout is great. Highly recommend if you’re in Capetown.

My stay at Curiocity Backpackers was an unforgettable experience. The warm, community spirit fostered by the team felt like a warm and cosy hug. With various activities like communal dinners, lekker braais and guests being brought together in a family-like atmosphere with games, good food and music. The clean, comfortable rooms and inviting common areas add to the experience leaving guests with wonderful memories, new friends, and a deep appreciation for Cape Town. Highly recommended!

I recently had an amazing stay at this fantastic hostel in Cape Town! The rooms were incredibly spacious and well-equipped with a self-catering kitchenette, making it easy to prepare meals and snacks whenever I wanted. The location couldn't have been more perfect – just a short walk to the Sea Point Promenade, the V&A Waterfront, and the Cape Town Stadium, where I attended an exciting soccer match and met some wonderful people. The hostel's social scene was vibrant and welcoming.

My experience at CURIOCITY Green Point was honestly a wonderful one. The staff is super friendly, the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located in Green Point , they have amazing experiences. I took part in their braai Night and I had a blast., I would highly recommend for others to choose curiocity as their hotel of choice,
