Rooms are small and beds are packed together. The place itself is pretty dirty and the shower rooms are a hassle. They are dirty and you get everything wet when you shower, unless you leave your things outside on a hook which risks getting stolen. The rooms are very hot and stuffy as well I don’t think there is air conditioning. You also pay 6.5 euro a day in property taxes which ads a lot to your daily rate.
My locker was broken completely when I came back from the city. There was a camera and I asked staff to look at it. Staff 1 was only surprised and didn't give any explanation; staff 2, the second day, said it didn't happen on his shift. Should I care? Some of my things were taken, and they acted as nothing happened. Only good thing was the location.
Good Hostel, BUT….. i was nagged each night to go to a party, this wasnt once a night this would be 2-3 times. During this time i would be trying to sleep and the drunken guest that went to the party would stumble in at 3,4 or even 5 am. This caused me to have a terrble stay here. Anyone who stays at this hostel i would recommend getting a private room, IF YOU DONT good luck sleeping for the time you have there.
Pésima experiencia. Cero actividad social el hostel y el personal de lo más mala onda que vi en mi vida. No se podía ni comer en los espacios comunes porque ya venían y te pedían que te vayas afuera. Las camas muy finas. No lo recomiendo. Cero atmósfera de hostel.
The hostel and the staff of the worst wave I've ever seen in my life. you couldn't even eat in the common areas because they were already coming and asking you to go outside. the beds are very nice. i don't recommend it. zero hostel atmosphere.
I’d rather stub my little toe endlessly until the end of time than go back to this absolute waste of space. It’s setting 2 stars in the review which is obviously not what I’m asserting here. This place doesn’t deserve the pixels that make up the corner of a single star. worst hospitality that I have ever experienced. The frenchy boy recepcionist is stupid, lied and scammed me. He gave unclear info to later charge more. ALL the people in the recepcion werent even caring about anything. The room have no ventilation and natural light. The bathroom was a mess. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, theres several hostels in Barcelona and this one is definitely among the worses.

One of the worst hostels i’ve ever been to. The staff unfriendly and the female dorm was way to pricey for what we got.

We made a reservation and without realizing it by our fault the room was only for girls ! The señor mayor who attended us was super rude and i neither if se quiira helped us to look for some solution to go my friend to sleep somewhere ! i paid for two beds i have lost money i he just said q there was more room i at 00hr of the night my friend had to go out to look for a place to stay last minute ! our fault of course yes But some solution would have q look for the hostel

Leider fehlten Vorhänge an den Betten… Vorhängeschlösser konnte man für 5€ erwerben, also bringt eines mit, wenn ihr die Spinde nutzen wollt. Das Licht in unserem Zimmer ging immer automatisch nach 1min aus. Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt. Der Luggage Room kostet 3€ wenn man seine Taschen am Abreisetag noch unterstellen will. Für Solo Traveller ist das Angebot an Aktivitäten aber riesig.
Great place to stay
I valgte primært at bo på hostelet fordi der stod at der var et køkken. Køkkenet var meget småt, og bestod kun af et køleskab og micro ovn. Havde vi vidst det, havde vi valgt et andet sted at bo.
I chose to stay in a hostel mainly because there was a kitchen. the kitchen was very small, consisting only of a refrigerator and microwave. had we known that, we would have chosen another place to stay.
The sleeping quarters were very nice, with privacy drapes. There were plenty of available lockers in the hallway to store things in. The toilets were also very private, with individual rooms for each toilet. However, the showers didn’t have any space to keep your items on just hooks inside and outside the stall which made it hard to keep stuff dry. Additionally the windows were kept open at night which allowed a lot of street noise in that I could still hear through my ear plugs.

Super awesome hostel! You'll love it especially if you're into partying and party hostels. There's free shots and lots of partying every night. Can be a bit dirty at times, and the shower situation isn't ideal (not much privacy) but other than that I would return and stay again happily. Easy access to the metro system as well.

Great location, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end. The receptionist was unhelpful, and the shower rooms need proper attention, with broken knobs and clips for the shower heads. The common area also feels run down, with very uncomfortable sofas and dented tables. The bar crawl is overpriced, especially when others offer it for free. It’s the cheapest option, but I’d recommend paying a bit more for a well maintained, more sociable hostel.

L’emplacement de l’hostel est excellent, permet un accès facile à tout Barcelone. Le personnel sur place était agréables surtout les femmes de ménage (big uppp) MAIS un homme de l’accueil (grand brun) et la femme qui gère les soirées ont rendu l’accueil désagréable au sein de l’auberge d’où ma mauvaise note pour le personnel. The location of the hostel is excellent, allows easy access to all of Barcelona. the staff on site was pleasant especially the housewives (big uppp) BUT a receptionist (great brown) and the woman who manages the evenings made the welcome unpleasant inside the hostel hence my bad grade for the staff. the kitchen or kitchen corner is completely useless, there is a small refrigerator and a microwave not very powerful, I do not recommend if you plan to cook.
The best hostel I have stayed in! The only reason it's not a 10 is because it was a bit pricey for a hostel but still the cheapest in Barcelona. Would definitely stay again. Also the beds are super comfy.

You get what you see! Pretty priceless for a cheap hostel in that sense. I didn't stay long. I couldn't get my shower to get warm though. I hate that!
the only thing I would have preferred, is if there was a mini stove or something in the kitchen so you could cook something if needed.
Bei den Duschen hat der Tempereraturregler nur schlecht funktioniert. Die Föns haben ebenfalls nicht funktioniert, es war aber möglich, sich einen auszuleihen. Die Lüftung in den Zimmern war mittelmäßig. Davon abgesehen waren wir sehr zufrieden. Die Lage des Hostels ist top, man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben.
The temperature controller in the showers worked poorly. The windows didn't work either, but it was possible to get a shower. The ventilation in the rooms was average. Other than that we were very satisfied. The location of the hostels is top, you feel well lifted.
J’ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet hostel ! L’endroit est très propre, bien organisé et l’ambiance est vraiment chaleureuse. Le personnel est super accueillant et toujours prêt à aider ou donner des conseils pour visiter la ville. Je recommande cet hostel à 100 % et j’y reviendrai avec plaisir lors de mon prochain passage !
I had a great stay in this hostel! the place is very clean, well organized and the atmosphere is really warm. the staff is super welcoming and always ready to help or give advice to visit the city. i recommend this hostel 100% and i will be glad to come back on my next visit!
The lockers are outside so you need a good padlock. Tried and avoid staying on the ground and first floor rooms as you could hear the noise of people in the lounge area throughout the night. I stayed in different hostels every night for 4 nights in Barcelona and this was my least favourite place in the end. One of the staff members was of CBA attitude. He buzzed everyone in but was deliberately ignoring me. I do not want to use the word racism but that was an unpleasant experience.
