Malacuna Barcelona

The night I arrived at the hostel there was a transgender person that was in the room alone with he/she tried to sexually harrassing me by showing his genitals to me and masturbating whislt looking at me. I went down to report it so the girl at reception moved me into another room but i still saw this person in the hostel. I know the only reason they didnt wawant to throw him out because they dont want to look transphobic but its okay for me to get attacked because im a straight white man

El hostel no era lo que se veía en las fotos,me destinaron 1 noche en habitación de 6 cuando pague de 4 ,no era limpio,ni tenía espacio de guardado.Me fui a los 30' de ingresar a la habitación.

Mi spiace ma credo che un posto peggiore di questo non ci sia, cominciamo dalle camere se così si possono chiamare, le celle di una galera sono molto più confortevoli, piccole, sporche e con armadietti di ferro rotti e arrugginiti. I bagni erano fatiscenti, sempre sporchi, puzza costante. Abbiamo passato le prime tre notti a non dormire con casino costante da parte di chi alloggiava dalle 2 alle 5 del mattino, con schiamazzi e corse per i corridoi e le scale. los baños son antihigienicos, la gente se droga como si nada en los baños, el lavadero está al medio del cuarto y lo peor la funda de la almohada tenía sangre

Ambiente non pulito, il bagno era in costruzione ed è rimasto senza luce per tutti i giorni in cui ho soggiornato, funzionavano solo la metà degli armadietti

Tra i più brutti e scomodi ostelli mai visti. Tende rotte, prese non funzionanti, pulizia pessima (polvere anche nelle docce) e soprattutto scomodissimi cassetti porta oggetti che ti obbligano a sdraiarti su quello sporchissimo pavimento!!! MAI PIÙ!!

Un lugar muy sucio en condiciones poco higiénicas, es una falta de respeto con el huésped que no le inviertan en algo tan primordial como es el aseo y mantenimiento del espacio, el personal es amable a excepción de uno que llegamos y estaba discutiendo con un huésped con algarabia sin importarle que habíamos más huéspedes ahí, el espacio entre cama y cama es extremadamente reducido.

La verdad que perfecto, la primera vez que nos quedamos en un hostal y fue una experiencia muy grata

Overall, everything was very good – I was satisfied with the cleanliness, location, and staff. The only downside I would mention is that shower towels were not free. In most places, this is usually provided at no extra cost, so this was a bit disappointing.

We booked a 4 bed female dorm and arrived and were allocated a 8 bed dorm. We told reception and they said it was an error with hostelworld. We changed rooms the second night. The staff were very nice and accommodating to us. When we were changed to the 4 bed room, we were put in the wrong room which had 4 single beds facing each other, no curtains, no bed lights, and most importantly - no chargers by the beds. it was a nice hostel within the city, a bit pricy and weird bathroom facility setup. also no bag storage after we left.

Very average, +for location and price, also had no issues with wifi. -common area is not much to talk about - but only stayed 1 night and didn't explore much so might have missed something. Check-in took 20min and they put me in the same bed as the person who checked in before. Had to go back down to get a new bed, took another 20min cause it was too hard to put me in the same room as my friend. Bednumbers not very clearly marked - later someone had taken my bunk which apparently happens often

Super séjour au hostel! Les lits sont confortables, les membres du personnel très sympathiques et l’emplacement était parfait pour visiter!

Séjourné avec un groupe d'élèves suisses entre le 22 et le 27 mars 2026. Pas assez testé l'atmosphère en restant sur place, ni utilisé les "facilities", mais je regrette de ne pas pouvoir donner une meilleure note pour l'emplacement et le rapport qualité/prix. Le personnel était aux petits soins, en plein de langues, bravo. Si je devais réorganiser un voyage d'étude à Barcelone, et malgré le relatif éloignement des possibilités de parcage pour cars, je reviendrais.

I stayed in a four-person room with two of my friends to rest after a long day of traveling. We were told that the fourth person in our room had already checked in, and their stuff was in the room when we got there, but this person never showed. The main light in our room was out, so we had to rely on our bedside lights and phone flashlights. The room and bathroom were relatively clean, and the atmosphere in the common room where people hung out was great. The staff were super friendly as well!

Super nice staff, the beds are pretty cozy and the curtains block light very well. The showers are clean and modern with hot water available at all times.

location is amazing. we stayed in a 6 female dorm with my friends and it was clean.

My room: I stayed here for 3 nights in a 10bed female dorm only. The room was okay and I think I was lucky with my timing, because there were only two other girls there who left the following day. The bed was clean and done. Toilets : The facilities on the other hand were dissatisfying and disappointing. The shared bathrooms are not divided, so men and women share the same facilities. Great hostel with an excellent location on La Rambla. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a private room which was clean and well maintained. The shared bathrooms were also clean. Would definitely recommend

++Great location, literally in the heart of Barcelona. Very comfortable beds and kind staff. - -There were a bad smell in toilets, they’re well equipped, but it’s not the cleanest. Overall great experience, will be my hostel every time i come to bcn because if the comfort.

muito bom o hostel!

It was okay. Nothing special. Pretty much just used it to sleep. Not very social. Stayed in 4 bed female. None of the beds had the clip to lock our stuff up which worried us a bit. One of the other girls beds didn’t even have a light or charging plug
