Hotel New King International

The area is not at all safe for staying. They list the property by the name of "Backpackers Heaven@New King" but when you reach this shady place, you find an under construction place. When you call them, they will send a person to receive you who will take you to more shady place which is not "Backpackers Heaven@New King" but their different hostel, which is not at all good. DO NOT BOOK AT THIS PLACE !

This hostel is hidden inside street (chowk). The bed and rooms are really small and not clean. Toilet has no proper piping and no hotwater. I will advice you to find a better place to stay. Don't spoil your trip staying here even if they offer you for free.

It was very dirty. The neighborhood was terrible. The staff from the hostel were not kind. And they want to sell us trips from a tourist office what seems part of the hostel. I will not recommend this hostel at al. We did not feel safe in the streets near the hostel it was super crappy.

I recently stayed at this hostel and it was a complete disappointment. There were no facilities whatsoever and the lack of a common area meant that there was nowhere to socialize or meet other travelers. The location was also very bad - it was in Kacchi basti which made it difficult to get around and explore the city. Overall, I would not recommend staying here if you're looking for a comfortable and enjoyable hostel experience.

The place should rather be called backpackers nightmare. Lockers in my room could easily be opened. Bathroom is very small, the shower looked broken (green, rusty?) and had only warm wather for one day, everything was moyst in the dorm, even my cloths in my backpack got moyst after a day in the room. There was black mold in the room as well, saw it on the walls and even on the bedding. The staff was helpful sometimes, but mostly just not interested in the guests. I changed the hostel.

Area is a big chock for first time traveler, i had to leave as soon as i stepped in. Nothing like the pictures, very unsafe area so be careful specially if you travel solo. They guy in the reception would not let me go which was very unpleasant. I truely believe the ratings are fake so don’t be fooled by ratings or name. It did cost me a lot to get my self away, find a new place far away and yes i left Delhi day after. Very sad first day experience, came as chock as it did break my trust.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed! Cockroaches, dirty sheets, holes in the walls, dogs and cats in the building. I’ve neeeeever seen such a dirty place and I’ve travelled a lot around the world and India. The first day, I left for 4 hours and a guy was sleeping in my bed… horrible

Pretty average place, and relative to the cost of living in India, quite overpriced. Was on top floors which were totally open to the roof area. No keys given for rooms which meant it was open to anyone coming in. Staff were friendly on check-in, but when realised that I wouldn't book any services or tours, became quite a lot less pleasant.

We had a great stay at New King International hotel !! It sits in the centre of Delhi with great services, especially Mukesh who was our driver for 5 days around the golden triangle which made our trip that extra special and safe. Definitely recommend this place and Mukesh as your driver for sure 👍

The hotel isn’t very well located but pretty clean. Nice people who cam help you for you travels itinerary.

affordable room with ac. Location is in a narrow alley next to central bazar. As a hotel I can recommend (due to price/value) but didn’t have any room to get in touch with other travellers. Offers tours and transports which I preferred to arrange myself.

The hotel is great, I stayed in a private room and it was super comfortable, clean and quiet. A good value for money! The area is not recommended, very dirty and noisy.

Great place. Did not expect such a nice room for such a reasonable price. Very good location and staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful! The manager, Manoj, was an especially friendly face to see at the front desk every time I came back to the property. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Paharganj!

Stayed at New King International and honestly had a great experience. Manoj and Rinku at the front desk were incredibly helpful — gave me solid recommendations for transport, places to see, and even where to eat, which made everything way easier. The rooms were some of the best I’ve stayed in across India — clean, comfortable, and consistent hot showers (which is rare enough to mention). Satyam was also a huge plus — always cheerful and went out of his way to help me with laundry etc ....

hostel was hard to find, didnt feel particularly safe or welcoming. staff were nice but the fascilities were dirty and vibes were off

Très bon hostel en plein Old Delhi (juste pas évident à trouver) mais tout à été refait à neuf et c’était niquel!! J’ai même était upgrader sans qu’on me demande rien (parfois le cas)

The room was okay, floor was very dirty and we could hear EVERYTHING from every room AND outside. We did not sleep good because of all the honking and everyone was always yelling so early in the morning in the rooms near us

Convenient location, albeit in a bit of a back alley which you might struggle to find straight away. Received a room upgrade upon arrival which was greatly appreciated during our 4am check in. Staff friendly and helpful - had a transfer from the airport for a reasonable fee. Room clean and had a good bathroom. Minor complaint would be that the window in our room was right next to a street light so was quite bright in the night. This is a hotel, not a hostel - not for socialising/meeting people.

Great little place. Rooms quite small but otherwise such a great deal. Great location and excellent restaurant a few steps away. Very close to New Delhi railway station. Staff great and helped with tours.

Pretty good hostel. I messaged to ask the location of hostel and they gave me the wrong address. Also asked for about 150 more rupees than it says on here.

A bit difficult to find as it is located in a narrow pedestrian alley, but locals are helpful for directions. Still near the main road (~2 min walk) where taxi can drop off or pick up. Clean and newly renovated. The bed I was in did not have its own fan, while the other beds did. 5-10 min walk to the nearest metro.

It was ok. Not in the place advertised but was fine
