My first impression of this place is undisciplined, untidy and look nothing like hostel but short term rental unit where Negress of Uganda Marie gives no receipts for payment . My stay in this hostel was horrible experience as the host gave me broken bed to sleep and when I confronted her she become showing her dirty way of calling names like stupid and spreading false rumors among other hostel goers . I paid so much money and got nothing headaches dealing with arrogant ladies from Uganda .

Bombay backpackers was my first hostel and I found it very depressing place to stay where kitchen was always dirty and one washroom for bath where 24 plus people live. It is not place for professional, matured person who live peace of mind as shouting, swearing at night is common. If you want peace of mind , stay away from it. No receipts for money . It is undisciplined and unhygienic place as cleaning only done ones in morning. Save your hard earned money 💰 and stay away from crowded place ...

La ubicación es excelente muy cómodo para caminar a todos lados. Pero el personal no muy ayudador y el ambiente incómodo. Pareciera que todos viven ahí o llevan mucho tiempo. Pero lo peor de todo eran las cucarachas, estaban en todos lados era asqueroso, abrías el microondas y salían cucarachas al igual que el cajón de cubiertos, las ollas etc.

L'organisation, l'ambiance, la sécurité n'était pas vraiment au rendez-vous, mais l'auberge est très bien placée et pas cher, donc c'est ok.

I wish the hostel took better care of their staff. The staff-lady was sleeping on the floor in front of my private room that I booked. At first I was unfomfortable that I had to pass a sleeping person on the floor to access my room, but later I just felt bad for her. Her mattress took most of the corridor floor space, so I even had to walk carefully to my room in order not to touch her. The owner of the hostel could at least give their staff a normal room where to sleep. Everything else was ok.

The property had a stunning view, but was otherwise disappointing. There was no hot water during my 3 night stay. The staff cleaned the apartment well, but the hostel ceiling, vents and even light fixtures looked and smelled very moldy. It seemed quite outdated.

Great location and very friendly staff. Couldn't contact them before arrival. Need to hunt and ask around to find the hotel. Balcony had the best view but extremely dirty with all the cigarette buds. No hot water for some reason. No hot water tub like they mentioned.

As a traveller who carries laptops, iPads, iPhones, etc. To not have security lockers is not acceptable. And no curtains, and loud people who are staying there long term. I wouldn’t stay here again

Molly the host is the best!!! Amazing location, right in the middle of JBR. Balcony view is amazing. Would definitely stay here again

Wifi in room was 78 upload / 80 download. Free water. Its a simple place to stay to sleep. Not social much. Close to tourist area and public transport. ***Take note of THESE directions to get there: from the tram stop, walk to "Subway" nearby it (the sandwich place). You'll see next to it a set of marble stairs. Take the left one. When you go up, you'll see a tall apartment building that says "BAHAR 5" above the doors. Thats your entrance!

Nice Hostel and Staff

As a traveller who carries laptops, iPads, iPhones, etc. To not have security lockers is not acceptable. And no curtains, and loud people who are staying there long term. I wouldn’t stay here again

Prime location, walking distance from Tram and metro. The person that takes care of the property is really hard working, wish I could mention her, but sadly I forgot her name. Apologies! The best view out of the window from the common area as you enter the hostel. My only concern was, since there's just one person taking care of the property, there were some perks. Also, the show rack placement is little weird, as it was right in the middle of the rooms.

The location is absolutely Amazon and the view is stunning. I absolutely enjoyed my stay there, and the host Anisa is absolute sweetheart. ❤️ she knows how to make someone feel at home. 💕

The host Annish is excellent in providing a great experience and the hostel is in a wonderful location with an amazing view of the sea. The hangout area is spacious and the kitchen and bathroom are spotless

Franchement tout est au top. l'emplacement est super (piscine disponible + plage à 10 mn à pieds) personnelles au top (surtout la managére la-bas annissa elle s'occupe de tout comme si c'était sa maison). Je le recommande 10/10.

Anniesa is the best. She made every guest feel comfortable and at home. She is so nice and approachable, and she mingles with the guests. She is so responsible and hospitable.
