Way too expensive for what you get. The dorms are tiny, and even though they advertise hot showers, these were the coldest I’ve had in two months of traveling... The vibe didn’t feel very friendly, and the social events weren’t great either. When I needed help, the staff weren’t very attentive. They’ve got a lot to improve to justify those prices. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

honestly just just stay one night. we stayed one week and it was way too much. first off the staff was not so nice and super slow. our room smelt like dirty feet the whole time. it was so hard to meet people because it’s so chaotic in there. they had so many strange dirty games which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. the partying was fun but so so expensive then they scream at you to go to bed at 11pm. there was also no fan in the rooms. just stay somewhere else and party here. do the boat par...

Overated, other hostels recommended

The hostel was filthy. The toilets and showers were in terrible condition. The reception and social area is dirty and there is no atmosphere. The staff were unhelpful and extremely slow. Two staff members did not know where our bedrooms were when showing us around. Laundry service was extremely slow, it is meant to be 24 hours but our laundry was still not ready on time.

Cold showers, dirty seating, no curtains on beds, and ROACHES in the room. Just buy the ticket to the pub crawl or boat party. You will be safe to walk back to another hostel late at night.

Absolute S******* of a hostel. Bathrooms were disgusting and covered in vomit every morning. Staff all started drinking around 11am and made for a really nasty and clicky atmosphere within the hostel on top of just being rude when you interrupted their drinking to check in/out etc Hostel says it has Starlink internet. Internet does not work within the hostel (despite Starlink working in the cafes on the same street) and guests are unable to connect to WIFI. Clear false marketing

Yeah fun hostel if you wanna party, only 2 bathrooms were working in the entire hostel for two nights so was a mess. NO AC or FANS so we were dying from heat. No terasse/rooftops, it's missing hangouts spots. Not enough showers/bathrooms for the number of people that we are. Really sex and alcool related, so if you don't vibe with that don't book it.

Had a great stay here! Would definitely stay again.

Best party hostel in the Guat

Overall good hostel! Very social/lots of events. Definitely the place to go to party. The private room was alright, although the lighting in it was quite poor. Staff were nice. Breakfast pancakes were good/we loved the unlimited coffee.

Really good fun hostel. Great staff working there too - Blaine and Naomi were awesome and the new volunteers Lilly and Maja were such nice bar staff. All so friendly. Really made the time brilliant, people make the party!

It is what you would expect from a party hostel. Very young crowd and think you can stay at other hostels which are much cheaper and less loud.

A great party hostel if that’s what you’re looking for. A lot of drinking and partying every night. So it’s a good place to meet people. But for what you get in general at the hostel, it’s very overpriced. The facilities are nothing special, and you have to pay for all drinks and activities on top of the high price. And the beds aren’t comfortable. In my opinion, you would be better off staying at another cheap hostel and coming to Mr Mullets in the evening to party. That way you save ...

Everyone who worked or volunteered was cool except one guy. He seemed more focused on keeping old guest out rather than preventing sexual harassment from happening on site. Please evaluate your priorities here. Cockroaches were a thing.

It’s not a bad hostel for a party hostel. I checked out early as I felt that the vibes were super fake like way to many people acting up to look cool, just wasn’t my vibe at all. Usually I love party hostels and never expect them to be especially clean or well kept but this place was quite grimy. there’s that much to do in San Pedro and it’s not pretty, area felt fairly safe at night, the lake is beautiful. It urgently needs cleaning. Daily cleaning is not enough for the demand, besides having few showers. Very good location. The volunteers/employees were polite and helpful. It has daily activities, but in a short time it becomes repetitive.

Hostel très fun et propre

Really nice hostel in a great location. We stayed for 2 nights, I slept really well in the dorm room. We expected really big parties as it is advertised as a party hostel but it was a bit underwhelming, probably because we were there on Monday and Tuesday. We did do the pub crawl and it was really fun so I’d recommend that. I felt really safe and the staff was nice. It’s pretty social too and the breakfast was sooo good! The showers were the best so far, hot and it was a rain shower head.
