Acro Capsule Hotel Namba Dotonbori

Achei muito desorganizado. Fora que eles passaram 2x o pagamento do hotel. Preciso do reembolso que até agora não fizeram. Recepcionista debochada, disse ter feito o reembolso de um dos pagamentos SEM A GENTE TER PEDIDO. Muito confusa, e com isso ficamos sem 40.000 ienes na conta até o final da viagem.

HOTTER THAN HELL!!! Very clean and location is great, but I would never stay here again. The dorms are extremely hot at 27.5 degrees celsius (that’s 81.5 fahrenheit) with very little airflow. Also, if you are staying more than one night and would like to sleep in, forget about that because they start cleaning at 9:45am, spraying some kind of aerosol sanitizer chemical that emanates through the entire dorm, but the people cleaning are wearing masks so they are unbothered.

Es el Hostel más caro que pagué en todo Japón pero el más básico, los espacios comunes eran muy reducidos lo mismo el espacio para guardar las valijas, la capsula y los baños estuvieron bien y la atención del personal fue muy amable pero el hostel no ofrecía mucho en comparación a otros hostel en Japón.

La distribución es rara, tenes que pasar por las habitaciones si o si para ir a los baños y generas ruidos a los que descansan

Great staff and location; negative only to note that capsule hotel and hostel are not the same thing. You have no space near the bed to put your stuff, little control of space and sound, and minimal physical security apart from social trust. There are lockers, but big bags are stowed in rooms open to all guests at all times. I personally found the sleep very uncomfortable, even compared to low-cost hostels otherwise, and woke up with back pain. This might work for some people, but not for me

Really is Pods and that’s it

Clean and inexpensive spot in a fantastic location. Sure it doesn’t have a great community area or lounge space but it’s in the heart of everything and you will only be there to sleep.

Pros: Plenty of privacy in the capsules. Also, free towels. Lockers were also very secure. The showers were very nice. I love the location. It is easy to find once you learn the layout of Namba Station, and Dotonbori is great for exploring. Cons: The luggage was not secure. All valuables should be kept in the lockers if you come here. Also, the bed, pillow, and blanket were not so comfortable. The temperature in the capsule was not easy to control, either, so it might be hard to fall asleep.

No security for the suitcasrs anyone can come and grab some Also put me on a floor with no elevator without saying in advance

Very clean and comfy hostel! The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s located in the heart on Dotonburi. Easy walking distance or metro to anywhere across Osaka. There’s no social atmosphere but all the amenities are nice. It did get a little hot in the capsule and not being able to turn the night board not off was slightly irritating.

Great capsule hotel. The capsules are small as expected but they are very comfortable, the bathrooms and common areas are clean and pleasant. The best part is the location though, you are literally next to Dotonbori. There’s also a 24/7 manga cafe next door with very affordable rates in case you want a bigger room to relax in.

Excellent capsule hotel. Perfect location and it has very clean and modern facilities. My only issue is the temperature in the capsule rooms. It was extremely warm. This is especially an issue if you are in an upper capsule. I found myself having to sleep on top of all the blankets. If they lower the temperature then this place would be perfect.

This hostel/capsule hotel was one of the best I’ve stayed in. Phenomenal value. There is a little corner with complimentary toiletries, clean pajamas to use during your stay, complimentary towel, perfect location (in Dotonbori, but on a more quiet street - best of both worlds) everything is right at your fingertips. The only issue was security…if you use the elevator, you need your access key to open the door to the rooms…but all of the rooms are accessible from the stairwell.

Good spot close to a very central area of Osaka, very clean and respecful. A few nice services and workers very helpful. Very recommended 👌🏻

I stayed at Acro Capsule Hotel during a Saturday and Sunday night. The good: location is fantastic, clean facilities, slept good The bad: not much of a lobby, elevator takes forever If it is location you are looking for this is a great spot, however you share a dorm with like 40 other people (but it is a capsule)

Acro Capsule was excellent for a couple of nights right in the centre of busy Dotonbori! The location was more than ideal to be directly on the food/drink streets and near nightlife. The hostel itself is made for travellers who are more introverted and might not want to interact with others so much, but it was the perfect stay for a couple of quiet nights.

My first ever stay in a capsule hotel and I anticipated it would be more of an endurance than an enjoyment but how wrong was I? Beautifully clean, surprisingly quiet and although my embedded claustrophobia meant I slept with my head at the pod entrance rather than vice Versa, I can honestly say I slept amazingly well. Literally woke up each morning with a memory full of dreams which showed I had proper sound REM sleep. Definitely would use Acro again. Its location is fantastic for everything!

Great staff they’re all super sweet. Overall great stay, cleanliness could really do better though.. I really think they need to refresh their bedding and carpet throughout and the place will be amazing

Very clean and quiet, the common areas/bathrooms/capsules were always clean. Staff were always seen cleaning throughout the day. Access to women’s side using a key card and large locker to store your things also locked with a key card, luggage kept in communal storage area but felt safe leaving our bags out. Lots of showers and bathrooms. Mirror and chairs to do make up. Found it a nice quiet spot to sleep after the busyness of Osaka. Excellent location. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay. Would have been a full 5 stars if the mattresses in the capsules were proper sprung mattresses instead of worn out and flattened foam pads. Difficult to get a comfortable night sleep on a mattress no thicker than a yoga mat. Other than that one issue, everything was superb.

Everything you could ever want at an affordable price point. Really good that they have a separate area for your bags and lockers that are free of charge. Free towels is a nice touch also. Not a very social hostel but it’s perfect place to get your head down after a long day I was pleasantly surprised by my capsule experience

Loved this hostel. Clean. Great staff. Only complaint is the mattress was incredibly thin. Felt like I was sleeping directly on a wooden board. Would love to have the mattresses doubled up for comfort. Could not sleep well at all. A second pillow would help too.

Perfect location for Osaka, just a short walk to the main strip. Hostel is kept very clean. I enjoyed being here.
