A bit overpriced . Wifi is spotty. Absolutely no social aspect. Staff doesn’t interact with guess. Location is far from everything. Have to pay for a towel. Hostel is very clean though
I wanted to change rooms during my booking with a double bed room at the same price available on the app, they didn't want to. the smoking room is a very small room and the rooms are very small. i recommend checking on booking or prices were much cheaper for this hostel than with Hostelworld.. otherwise excellent location
Staff were not friendly, there was no atmosphere in the common areas and the bedroom was tiny and poorly laid out - why were there no shelves or surfaces to be able to use? The bathroom was okay. There was no security around the laundry facilities and the machines don't lock so that didn't feel secure. Additionally, they offer luggage storage, but this is just in a corner by the front door with no tag/identifier for collection - not secure at all. Very loud at night, with echoey corridors.
This hostel is hugely over rated. There is 0 atmosphere. The staff are very unapproachable, more interested in socialising amongst themselves in the kitchen/common area, which made these areas uninviting. There common spaces are extremely small and basic. Rooms are nice enough but very basic and expensive. I definitely would not recommend for a solo traveller. More of a very basic budget hotel than a hostel.
This building is very modern and there is no carpet only a cement material in the hallways so sound really bounces and is quite loud. I was lucky to be on a floor with quiet individuals because you can hear every word or door opening/closing on your whole floor. It was also pretty pricey on the weekend (my 3 nights here was as expensive as 5 days in Kyoto). The staff was super kind and it was a pretty convenient location to a couple different train stations. No complaints other than the sound.
We stayed for 3 nights in a dormitory with 6 beds. There was 1 shower and 1 toilet in the room. Unfortunately the room was very small and Eng, so we could only leave our luggage in the middle of the room. The hostel had a kitchen and a living room. The roof terrace including hanging mat was nice.
I enjoyed my stay here. Clean and modern with a great common room and kitchen setup, however the atmosphere is very subdued so the space isn't used that much. The location is about a ten minute walk from the train but if you're willing to walk it suits just fine. Ideal if you want a lowkey stay but not particularly social. Also the corridors can be loud at night if people are coming through, particularly on the private room floors as there is a gap under the door so noise travels easily.
A nice enough hostel, but not very social when I was there. The walls are also quiet thin, sound echos and and the rooms / hallways feel like a hospital room. I'd stay here again in a pinch, but not a great option for those looking to make friends or people sensitive to noise.
Very clean private room had everything you needed.
They mix the trash, they don’t recycle; you can access all areas of the place with the same shoes you wear on the street, the place is dirty; there are no lockers for your luggage, which makes it unsafe; in the morning, the service is very pleasant, but in the afternoon, not so much; it’s an acceptable place if you’re not immersed in Japanese culture.

Excellent location, the staff super friendly and attentive; quality ratio - very reasonable price and above all, a comfortable and easily accessible location for a city as large as Osaka, close to metro stations and interesting areas to visit, including Osaka Castle.
Very clean private room had everything you needed.

Excellent spot! Only detractor is location (no super close to the main subway lines or dotonbori) but everything is within a 30 minute walk, the hostel is clean/safe, and the staff is very friendly.
It is very convenient for me to go anywhere since it is located near Metro . When I have a bath, the water becomes cold and weaker .
We reserved a double room with an en suite bathroom. The common areas were clean and with nice amenities. The HVAC in our rooms, specifically air conditioning, did not work, and the window was sealed. They offered us a smaller room with a window that was able to be opened, which we took in order to have some ventilation. Our room was uncomfortable (too small and too hot or too cold) for all four days. Of the several staff members we encountered during our stay, only one was helpful.
really clean and very comfortable stay in osaka, great info from the staff about the area :)
The staff was so nice!
This was by the far best hostel experience for me in Japan so far. All the amenities were there. What really made it a 10/10 was the atmosphere and the vibe overall. The staff were really welcoming and they gave trip recommendations for both Osaka and outside as well such as Tokyo and Kyoto. Shoutout to Haruka for making it an awesome experience and giving insights in the differences between Tokyo and Osaka cultures.

I found the dorms a little narrow but good. on the other hand there is a french bistro right next to "à la maison" at the corner which I highly recommend. good atmosphere, good sandwiches and good music.
Great stay, the private double room was spacious and the staff helpful. Very quiet, perfect for business trips! Definitely recommend
Clean, easy and cheap laundry, there is a really nice handmade book with suggestions about things to do/shopping places/restaurants wich is very handy. The kitchen is way better than expected and the staff is lovely. definitly recommend.
Hostel was really lovely and very clean. The only thing I would say is that it’s not very social. Besides that I really loved it and would recommend
Beds are ok but the room is so small that if there is 6 person there is not enough of place to keep your laugage And the sink is so small...over all i give 5 on 10
A fantastic and clean stay in Osaka.
Great location and friendly helpful staff. Room we had (with en-suite) was very very small with window opening into an air shaft (not pleasant). Room was so small we had no room to open our suitcases and we had to exit the room one at a time. This needs to be added to room description so that guests know what they’re booking. Otherwise bathroom was fine. Kitchen cutlery could be upgraded- there were only 4 teaspoons for many many guests!
I loved it. Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The area is nice and chill with everything you might need around you. Only a ten minute walk to the station.
