I never leave reviews but this time I have to. Despite a great volunteering team that makes the place welcoming and fun, my shoes (with my medical soles) "disappeared" when they were kept at the reception for "sake keeping" with my bags for one afternoon. Despite having cameras, they were not well placed to see what happened. The hostel, while taking responsibility verbally, refused to repay me my shoes (while the medical soles are expensive). I had to fill an official complain (and lost a whole...

Way overpriced, I would not stay here again

We stayed in the Aguere hostel for two nights and we were deeply traumatized by the conditions within the hostel. First of all, we arrived at the hostel and there was no staff welcoming us. Next, the dorms were in horrible conditions: dirty and stained old bed sheets, low quality and uncomfortable beds, and no possibility to lock the door. And only two small bathrooms which were so disgusting that we couldn’t use them. For 35 Euros p.p. each night, this felt like torture. Never ever again!

I was charged 30% more for my one-night stay than listed and despite several complaints did not receive the money back.

Booked a two bed female dorm room, but during the night there came a drunk man in my room and started snoring in the bed above mine, there were hair in the bedsheets, very uncomfortable pillow, mold everywhere in the bathroom, wifi didn’t work in the room

Not a good experience. Staff not flexible, spent at least an hour trying to solve a problem with my reservation and impossible to find one person to refer to, there were four different people involved and the communication between them was terrible. Also the atmosphere was cold. I was very disappointed with this experience.

I liked that it is located close to the main bus station and the city center. The hostel didn't feel welcoming for me. Most people stayed for one night(maybe bcs it's close to the airport) so it was difficult to get in touch with new people. The dishes and cups in the kitchen were not fully clean. The rooms themselves were clean with a curtain around the bed and a locker.

Manque de rigidité sur la bordure de Lit superposé, difficile de monter ou descendre. Il y certainement du personnel qui parlent le français et ou l'anglais, pas eu la chance de les rencontrer. Petit déjeuner succint! La réception TV n'existe plus.... Cependant il y a beaucoup de point positifs que je vous laisse a découvrir. Bon séjour

Fue una experiencia inigualable. Tanto la gente que se quedó en el hostal como la gente que se ocupada del hostal fueron entrañables y con un corazón enorme. Definitivamente volveré una próxima vez

Was so dirty and just a weird vibe. A lot of mold. The Terrance is really nice but it needs a deep clean.

Nice spacious terrace upstairs with a good view of the city. Just a 10 minute walk to La Laguna Estacion for the bus. My showers were often not very warm and the temperature fluctuated a lot. Showers did not drain well so expect to be standing in a puddle of dirty water. Lockers are relatively small and do not fit a standard backpack or suitcase so valuables must be stored separately. Overall would recommend

Hostel très cool, il manque des rideaux pour l’intimité lorsqu’on est en haut du lit.

Overpriced, honestly. Not very clean and the staff are never there to assist you. Terrace remained closed way beyond scheduled time. Please take better care of people

Decent place to stay with great roof terrace (when the weather's good!) I appreciated the welcome beer, although serving breakfast would be more useful. Decent size rooms and comfy enough beds. Kitchen maybe a bit small and really could do with a proper kettle (it's like the world's smallest travel kettle currently!) Bathrooms clean and shower good. Location good too - if you need food, the place opposite called "Full Arepas" is recommended for a tasty late night Buddah-bowl!

personal very kind, hostel is by a street that can be loud. Sort out the heavy smoker or bad smelling people. under my bed was someone, you can put ear plugs in for against the snoring, but against the smell? absolutly Nothin

Nice hostel. Staff put on some films .Eight bed dorm decent size overlooks busy road . Six bed doesn't have window with a view but to an enclosed wall. Four bed dorm very small. Privacy curtains with overly bright bed lights.Small kitchen but well equipped.Four toilets two with showers plus two other showers. Living area pictured opens to the rooftop so may get cold. The hostel needs an internal room with comfy seats to overcome this major problem.

this hostel has just the best staff, really friendly ppl who help me a lot, thanks guys

Bastante bien todo quitando que tenía una ballena aspirando por la noche que roncaba que daba gusto que imposible dormir con el, me tuve que poner cascos con sonido de fondo sino no había quien durmiera

Les + : le rooftop est vraiment top, l’emplacement est idéal, la cuisine bien équipée et les deux volontaires qui y travaillent sont super sympas. Les - : la propreté pourrait être améliorée dans les salles de bain, le petit déjeuner est inexistant et la moyenne d’âge est assez élevée donc je ne le recommande pas pour des jeunes qui veulent rencontrer du monde.

I loved this hostel. Very clean and comfortable. The beds are well made with wood and slightly bigger than normal. Privacy curtains also. Everything is generally clean, although one of the bathrooms could do with some reservation. It is a quiet hostel, people keep themselves to themselves for a bit, which for me is fine. Good location and a fairly quiet area for the city. Great rooftop terrace with some views of the sea and there is a guitar so, amazing.
