+ The coffee machine the older lady or middle-age lady staff didn’t give a crap the rules on the door don’t really mean anything because the staff does nothing about it noisy loud guess again the staff doesn’t handle any kind of complaints
- The middle-age lady that was working the counter who didn’t care about my complaint. When I told her the rules on the door, say there are quiet hours after 10 and that the other girls in the room are very noisy and on the phone, she didn’t seem to care was just trying to up charge me for a private suite. I asked her then why are there rules on the door and she just kind of shrugged. I’ll never ever stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
Les douches sont MIXTES. Un home dans sa 45/50 aine m’a accosté après ma douche. Le petit déjeuné n’est pas optionnel non plus donc obligatoire et il n’y a que des pommes et du pain. Le staff se contredit aussi. C’est que des vieux un peu étranges qui y restent de ce que j’ai vu.

- The moment I arrived I had old men starring at me while I tried to check in. I felt so uncomfortable as a solo traveller, ended up being in a mixed dorm with them. So upgraded to single room. Not in a good location not much around

Clean hostel, located in the beautiful town of Nyon, which was a lovely discovery for me. There was, however, one small downside: I was placed in a dormitory with an elderly person who had respiratory problems, used a machine, and snored very loudly. I asked to be moved to another dormitory. The person at reception did not initially accept, perhaps due to the hostel’s policy, but after seeing the situation, they eventually found a solution with respect and kindness.
It was dope for it being in Switzerland, but it was one of the hostels that seemed a bit creepy vibe wise. Not much of community and everything just seemed very old times. Their basement area was v creepy
The hostel is clean and the beds are good even for tall people. The showers are wide and very clean. The area is quiet and there's a bus or a train to go to the main station.
I recently stayed at Nyon Hostel while transitioning into a new professional chapter, and it is easily the best hostel I have experienced. The facilities are top-tier, specifically the privacy of the unisex showers—and the entire environment is impeccably clean. The staff, from reception to housekeeping, are incredibly kind. The inclusive breakfast was a huge help to me. A special thank you to Catry. Her beautiful soul and caring nature made me feel truly at home when I needed the most. ...

+ The staff are helpful and organised. The location is easy to get to from the train station either by walk or a few stops by bus. The environment varies depending on the guest, but in general it is calm and clean. The beds are really solid so even as a bunk bed, movement isn't much of an issue. The blackout curtains around each bed is extremely useful and makes a big difference to the feeling of privacy and also reduces light disturbance. The facilities are kept regularly clean, and the consideration of guests helps maintain it. The breakfast is well supplied with a basic spread of hot drinks, cold drinks, bread, toast bread, jams, butter and some cheese slices. They also offer cornflakes and muesli, yogurt and milk. There is a basket of apples (I don't know if it's always apples). Each bed has an allocated locker for personal items and some shared hanging space too. I think there are lockers and bike storage on the lower level but I did not use these services. The kitchen has basic equipment and it very convenient for meal or picnic prep. The nature of hostel is shared space, the staff were responsive to the minority of guest who needed to be reminded about consideration (volume etc.) The ramp entrance and elevator means many areas of the hostel are wheelchair accessible. I'm not a wheelchair user so for specific information it would be best to contact them directly.
- A microwave available outside of the kitchen hours would be extremely useful and helpful. A stricter no-smoking area at the entrance of the hostel would be more welcoming. It would be practical if the tuck-shop had mini / travel Olive oil and salt packs for sale for cooking.

- Śniadanie było nieco rozczarowujące z punktu widzenia osoby o niestandardowej diecie. Liczyłam na jakiekolwiek danie z jajek. Niestety poza serem żółtym i masłem nie byłam w stanie skorzystać z niczego więcej (tosty, dżemy, płatki i jogurt).
