War niemand außer mir da, daher sehr ausgestorben und zum teil echt gruselig😂😭betten waren sehr bequem, mit einem ventilator daran. Preis kann man sich echt nicht beschweren super billig.

the hostel itself is fine nothing special, just don’t stay in galle but in unawatuna and get the bus to galle. its better. in general its fine tho, quite clean, only there is nobody and its empty.
I loved the hostel property but the only problem is that the toilets were on the ground floor, outside the hostel room which was in the first floor. It was a bit of a problem at night.
Ich war nur für eine Nacht dort. Hostel ist nicht sehr social, ist aber nah am Strand und ca. 15 min von Galle Fort. Personal spricht nicht so gut englisch, deswegen war es teilweise schwer mit der Kommunikation, aber sie sind trotzdem lieb.
I was only there for one night. Hostel is not very social, but is close to the beach and about 15 min from Galle Fort. Staff don't speak so good English, so it was sometimes difficult with the communication, but they are still nice.
Das Hostel ist leider wirklich sehr heiß Nachts, trotz Ventilatoren. Mehr als eine Nacht würde ich dort nicht bleiben.

super hostel, für den preis deutlich besser als auf den bildern aussieht, super schöner chill bereich draußen und drinnen. mir hat nur wirklich die Klimaanlage gefehlt, aber wer die nicht braucht absolute empfehlung und bessere lage geht nicht, auch nachts alleine nur paar Meter vom strand weg
super hostel, for the price it looks much better than on the pictures, super nicer chill range outside and inside. i just really missed the air conditioning, but who doesn't need absolute recommendation and better location don't go, even at night alone just a few meters from the beach
You’re getting what you pay for here, for not much money you’re not gonna get much. Really struggled with the amount of mosquitos in the rooms at night. Despite the nets, if I wanted to go to the bathroom it felt like I was stepping into a bloody warzone. Staff were nice and the bed was clean, I appreciated the large cooking area.
Preis Leistung ist voll gut, jedoch ist das Hostel ein bisschen abgelegen und versteckt. Für die Hauptattraktionen wie Galle Fort braucht man immer ein Tuk Tuk. Dennoch ist das Bad sehr sauber und die Dorms auch. Betten sind groß und mit Ventilatoren und Fliegennetzen ausgestattet. Es gibt auch große Schränke, um seinen Backpack einzuschließen. Leider spricht das Personal kaum bis gar kein Englisch. Daher war die Verständigung recht schwierig.
The price performance is voll gut, however the hostel is a bit secluded and hidden. For the main attractions like Galle Fort one always needs a Tuk Tuk. Dennoch the Bath is very clean and the Dorms too. Beds are large and equipped with Fans and Fly nets. There are also large lockers to include his backpack. Unfortunately the staff hardly speaks any English. Therefore the understanding was quite difficult.
Very nice helpful staff. The hostel has a lot equipment ie appliances etc. for people that want to self cater. Communal space is very big. 👍
Decent hostel, not very social and a not very scenic 25 min walk down a busy road into town. Saying that, it was relatively clean and did the job.

The place is so cheap and everything is good inside, we even had access to cold water fridge and everything to cook. Really nice place to stay in

Ideale Lage zum Dewata Beach und Supermärkten. Bequeme Betten, Mückennetz und gut ausgestattete Küche mit kaltem Trinkwasserbrunnen. Hostelbesitzer können wenig englisch, als sie mitbekamen, dass einer sich den Fuß verstaucht hatte, gaben sie ihm aryuveda Medizin. Also super Nett und Hilfsbereit. Ich konnte ganz einfach auch verlängern. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine zur allgemeinen Verfügung. Es wird täglich alles durchgewischt und geputzt.
Ideal location to Dewata Beach and Supermarkets. Comfortable Bed, Mückennetz and well equipped Kitchen with cold drinking water fountain. Hostel owners know little English, when they noticed that someone had sprained his foot, they gave him aryuveda Medicine. super Also Nett and Hilfsbereit. I could easily also extend. There is a washing machine available. Everything is wiped and cleaned daily.
Best Hostel I have stayed at in all of Sri Lanka ! Beds are massive and comfy, you get mosquito nets and rooms are spacious! Common area has everything you need and more ! Staff is a bit shy but super lovely as well they make everything possible if you ask nicely and maybe with some google translate as help. Best value for money for sure.
Best Hostel! Free Water! Very clean, my first time I extended a night because I loved the place Really good postition as well 2 min from surf beach, 25 min by walking for the fort
best hostel I have seen so far* 10/10* you must visit the place I extended my stay for one day just to cook in the kitchen. the place is huge clean places to surf isin walking distance
Tanty's hostel was a great place for us to stay as it was right on the main road and had all the facilities we were looking for. The only thing was ladies washroom didn't have a light but we could manage as the mixed washrooms were clean. Good stay for the price! Will be back again soon.
One of the best hostels I stayed in srilanka. Super clean and comfy beds. The owners were lovely and gave good advice. They were always up for a chat. The property also had many fun boardgames to play. Great location near the beach

Really nice for one or two nights stay. The kitchen was available and the garden was great.

Für eine Nacht ein ganz gutes Hostel. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt leider nicht geeignet. Die Zimmer haben keine Klimaanlage, sondern nur einzelne Ventilatoren, was die Nacht sehr warm macht. Das Personal kann leider nicht sehr gut englisch was die Kommunikation stark einschränkt.
For one night a very good hostel. for a longer stay unfortunately not suitable. the rooms have no air conditioning, but only individual fans, which makes the night very warm. the staff unfortunately cannot speak very good english was the communication severely limited.
Very close to Galle Fort and the room also spacious enough with clean washrooms and large hall.
