Camping Rialto Village

Stayed for one night straight from the airport sp we could get a hire car early, to then go onto the Dolomites, didnt get to see much of the facilities. stayed as it was cheap, in the little lodges - however, all 4 of us ended up with bed bug bites after staying here

We didn’t even stay the night. The cabin was unbearably humid with no AC nor fan, and we notice signs of BEDBUGS — Staff didn’t seem surprised, which says a lot. We left without asking for a refund — just wanted to leave as soon as possible.

We tried to cancel last minute because of bed bugs and they wouldn’t give us a refund. We booked a different hostel instead.

The mini chalet was completely infested with bed bugs. The next day about twenty bed bug bites showed up on my skin. I don’t know how the property could have such a terrible infestation without being aware of it (especially with multiple reviews over the past years of bed bugs). To not be handling the situation properly is very concerning. The door to my chalet was broken and so I wasn’t able to lock it from the inside or from the outside. The person at the reception was not very friendly.

0/10! I’m not a big review person, but there were physical bed bugs in my bed and I was left with bites all over my body. Ended up spending my 24 hrs in Venice in a laundromat cleaning my clothes. No refund was provided for that night and the staff seemed unbothered as if this is a common occurrence.

Upon checking out, I was verbally attacked by a male staff for not having my check out paper. Upon telling him that I was in a rush, he was shouting and getting in my face. I asked him multiple times to back up and he continued on, with witnesses. I would not recommend staying at this accommodation.

where to even begin, we came there stressed out by reviews about various insects so we left the baggage outside of the cabin (218), went in to check the beds with flashlight, already with a terrible smell. after a while we found signs of bedbugs (ink like stains in corner of mattress) and various dead insects and their bodies. we did not feel safe so we decided to confront the receptionist and she told us that that is definitely not bedbugs but she can give us money back and we went to airport

We stayed in a trailer and it was surprisingly nice. The bathroom does not have ventilation though so it got humid real quick in there. Staff was overall friendly, but heard some complaints of bed bugs from people staying in cabins. The bus stop is convenient but definitely plan ahead when heading out.

Do not stay here, cabins riddled with bed bugs and ants, doors don’t close properly and staff were very rude.

!!DONT STAY IN THE CABINS!!! Cabins are crawling with ants and bedbugs. The staff couldn’t give us another room so they just sprayed it with bug spray. We did not get a discount because of this either. We stayed here in the end of may and it was very very cold in the cabins at night. There’s no heat and there’s cracks in the floor and walls. The campsite itself was cozy and nice. The restaurant and facilities were also good. It’s 10 min in bus to Venice and the bus stops at the campsite

Le check-in et checkout sont très longs (nous étions seules à le faire mais j'imagine la queue devant la reception en pleine saison. Nous avons loué un chalet mais le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas. Du coup on nous a "surclassé" dans un Mobilhome. Au début nous avons été contentes puis nous avons eu plein de soucis:l'eau chaude prend très longtemps pour arriver chaude, puis l'eau s'écoule de la douche dans toute la salle de bain / salon car très mauvaise isolation, pas de tv, pas beaucoup d'outils dans la cuisine. Le pire est que je me suis réveillé pendant la nuit avec plein de piqûres sur le corps... Je pense que c'était des punaises de lit. Du coup, j'ai été très dégoutée. Heureusement je suis restée une seule nuit. En rentrant j'ai du isoler et laver à haute température toutes mes vêtements et les affaires que j'avais avec moi pour éviter d infester mon appartement.

two words: bed bugs we checked in, went to our room, and then immediately saw tiny black bugs crawling all over our beds. with speed i didn’t even know i possessed, we got out of our rooms and went to the front desk. the lady at the front desk didn’t even seem surprised when we told her there were bed bugs everywhere. we decided to get a refund and leave. we checked in to the hotel down the street (even though it was extremely expensive and we’re broke budget travelers) very disappointing.

Leider haben wir am Morgen der Abreise Bettwanzen in unserer Hütte und auch Bisse von Bettwanzen an unserem Körper vorgefunden. Nach langer Diskussion mit den Mitarbeitenden haben wir dann ausschließlich die letzte Nacht erstattet bekommen. Keine Empfehlung!!

The place was decent but me and my mates got so many bed bug bites during our stay there… Wish they did more to counter that.

Wir hatten für zwei Nächte eine der Hütten gebucht. Die Hütten sind klein & sehr voll gestellt, aber im Grunde ok - leider hatten wir scheinbar Bettwanzen bei uns, was die Freude ein wenig geschmälert hat 🥴🥴 der Service an sich war gut & die Leute alle sehr nett. Anbindung nach Venedig klappt mit den Öffis auch gut (:

do not recommend, especially in the summer if you are staying in the cabins! so uncomfortably hot we ended up only staying one night and having to get a hotel for the remaining nights and they wouldn’t refund me. There is black stuff dripping from the ceiling, large holes that bugs get through and i got bed bug bites.

Overall pleasant. Very convenient that it’s right across from the bus stop but overall nothing special. No air flow in the cabins at all and there were quite a few bugs, no bedbugs though so that’s a plus. Would stay here again in a pinch.

BED BUGS. Worst place I have ever stayed at. Staff were extremely unfriendly, all facilities were filthy and food made us ill. Our room was infested with bed bugs and upon our early check out, reception pretended not to understand why we were leaving and could not have cared less that there were bed bugs. Absolutely disgusting.

BED BUGS!!! DO NOT STAY HERE. Booked a tent by accident thinking it was the mini chateau. We didn’t realize until we got to our site. The tents has bugs and dirt in them and looked like they hadn’t been used or cleaned in weeks. We then upgraded to the mini chateau where we woke up after an awful sleep from both the heat and feeling itchy. Didn’t realize until later in the day that we were itchy from bed bug bites when the bites started to surface. We came back from being in Venice to check out our room and sure enough there were bed bug droppings all up the corners of the walls. When we checked out midday explaining that it was because of bed bugs we were told that she didn’t understand. When we showed pictures of bed bugs she hardly reacted and offered us a different room. When we advised that we were leaving we were asked to pay the full 2 nights, but eventually allowed to pay just for the night we stayed.

BED BUGS!!!!!!! We stayed 4 nights in Camping Rialto and it was the worst experience we have had our WHOLE Europe trip and we have been budget travelling for 4 months now. We slowly kept getting bites all over our body every night but we thought that is was mosquito bites as we did not wear any repellent. Every night it would get worse even though we left the window and door closed of our cabin 24/7 (which was extremely annoying due to the fact that the cabins are like a sauna and about 10 degrees hotter then outside which was already very hot) by the 3rd morning we woke up absolutely covered in hundreds of bites which were swollen. We found live bugs AND blood stains all over the bed sheets from the bed bugs (which were not there the first night)! Went immediately to reception who sent someone to check and it was confirmed (obviously). All the reception offered for a solution was to move rooms.. no apologies, no help to get rid of the infestation which would now be over all of our belongings and no assistance on our horrible bites. Instead I got told in an extremely rude loud manner that is was OUR fault for bringing the bugs in apparently which is most definitely not the case as we did not have any bed bug problems in any of our previous accommodation. And then it was also our fault because he left it three days instead of coming to them when we thought it was mosquito bites.. as I explained to the bigger lady that I didn't come tell reception because i thought it was mosquito bites she told me that was my fault because I should have told her we were getting bitten by mosquitoes .. I was gob smacked. Would strongly recommend NOT to stay here! Your better off spending a few extra euros and getting something nicer instead on spending it on expensive creams for the bites.

Stayed In one their cabins was a sauna couldn't sleep until 1am every night, which was nothing until I woke up at 4.30 in the morning of which I had been absolute slaughted by BED BUGS... the next morning staff changed my room offer little help and forced to move everything out of bed bug infested room with bug infested clothing spent whole day washing. Overall I give this place 1 star for location it's pretty easy to get into Venice. Would highly reccomended paying a few extra euros for somewhere else. I have already paid 40 euros treating all my bites.

I cannot recommend this camp site. First we thought it was fine for two nights to visit venice, but after we brought bed bugs home from this camp site our opinion changed. It's terrible.

Terrible. First tent was filled with insects and spiders (not a huge problem but a bit annoying). Switched to a cabin because it was only a few euros more and got completely eaten by bed bugs. Staff refused to move me to a new room or reimburse the cost of the night convinced it was mosquito bites (bites were very clearly bedbug bites, with both the triangle pattern and about 30 bites in a cluster). After a frustrating day in Venice worrying about the night I managed to find the sheddings of one of the bedbugs on my pillow and brought it to the front desk but by then it was too late in the night to be transferred. This hostel basically ruined my time in Venice, and I'm writing this review over a month after my stay because I just woke up from a nightmare about the stay.
