El lugar más asqueroso y sucio que me he quedado! Pelos por todos lados, cucarachas en el baño, muy desordenado, equipos sucios, mal olor en el baño. El check in es en otro sitio muy random; un ex bar que usan de oficina extremadamente desordenada y sucia. The most disgusting and dirtiest place I've ever been! Fur everywhere, cockroaches in the bathroom, very messy, dirty equipment, bad smell in the bathroom. The check in is in another very random place; an ex-bar they use as an extremely messy and dirty office. The very slow process since they get you in a car and take you to another building where the dormitory is, I felt very insecure not knowing where I was going. It's not a hostel, the owner manages different apartments in different buildings...
This might be the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. You stay in the rooms above the owner’s run down (maybe abandoned) bar. The staircase up to your room is covered in abandoned assorted junk like planks and tools. The owner was an incredibly creepy old man. When my girlfriend and I asked for more toilet paper (he only gave us half a role to start) he didn’t go back downstairs and instead waited at the top of the staircase. The apartment was undoubtedly in a great location, but other than that I saw nothing else that was good, and the price I paid was a lot for this stay. It did not deserve this amount at all. The street leading to it was beautiful and the Staircase with Baggage was a nightmare, I had to carry it to the 3rd floor. The room was nothing great, the bathroom was in a bad condition, no proper plumbing. All in all the room was average
The location of property was not nice . Also the room was in so poor condition . AC was working with huge noice so I had to off this .Was so terrible sleep for that night as room was very hot . Hardly I slept 2 hours . The location of my bed was just infront of toilet . I feel like this place can be better to keep animals but not human . No soap was inside bathroom and bathroom was not clean either . The worst experience. It was not worth of 73 Euro.Extremely disappointed on my choice of booking
Ich war 6 Nächte dort und in der Zeit wurde das Bad nie geputzt und die dreckigen Handtücher der ehemaligen Bewohner blieben auch im Bad liegen. Das Fenster ließ sich nicht schließen. Im Treppenhaus stapelte sich der Müll und die Straßen. Als alleinreisende Frau hab ich mich gar nicht sicher gefühlt.
I was there for 6 nights and during that time the bathroom was never cleaned and the dirty towels of the former occupants were left in the bathroom too. the window could not be closed. the stairwell piled with garbage and the streets. as a woman travelling alone I did not feel safe at all.
Pudimos realizar el check in a las 20 hs cuando el horario era a partir de las 15 hs. El wifi no funciona. El televisor tampoco. Nos quedamos sin agua caliente y demoraron en contestarnos. No recomendable más que por la ubicación.
We were able to check in at 8pm when the schedule was from 3pm. the wifi doesn't work. neither does the tv. we ran out of hot water and they took a while to call us back. nothing recommended except for the location.
The hostel is not on Calle Paolina, they summon you to the place where there is an abandoned bar, I thought they had scammed me. I called about 9 times and nothing and suddenly they called me back to tell me to wait there and a man appeared in his car telling me that the check point and "the hostel" was on the next street, that he was waiting for me there. This place was actually really sketchy. I dont know if we were just unlucky, but we experienced a lot of drunk and weird types hanging around the street on several occasions, and it didn’t feel very safe since you actually couldn’t lock the door to the room from the inside. The floor was really dirty, only one roll of toilet paper, he forgot our towels, there was no hand soap in the bathroom (it was just empty). Before arriving there I called the receptionist, told him because of strike &can't be there before9,and he said OK. But when I arrived there about 10 no one was there and when I called him and texted him he said he won't open the door and I can't do check in anymore.I was so tired and desperate,crying for 2h and neighbours came down to help me he show up, and I realised that I have seen him more than 3times there walking around! But didn't want to let me in!in the end he opened the door at 1am.
Antes de llegar, pedí saber la dirección del lugar en el cual me quedaría y no me la quisieron dar (se supone que uno tiene que saber el lugar en el cual se va a quedar, y no es el publicado). La segunda noche llego una chica a las 2 am, y cuando le estaba mostrando la habitación empezó a los golpes con la puerta. El baño no se limpia y la habitación mucho menos, telas de araña de años. Solo tiene de positivo la ubicación, que igual de noche a tener cuidado.

It was a last minute booking. We arrived early but Franco, the host, was kind enough to give us the room as it was ready. Really comfortable mattress and a good supply of hot water in the shower. Location was fantastic. Plenty of restaurants nearby and easy access to transport. Waking distance to Termini. Would definitely stay again.
I booked the room for my lady friend, Cynthia at work to stay in this hidden gem of Rome. Have been to Rome several times, she loved the place very much! Great Location, near the Santa Maria Basilica in Rome, and the Train Station. The room was very cleaned and very good shared facilities. Value for Money and the Staffs were very friendly and helpful. The Host Franco was amazingly friendly. Would highly recommend to stay at Paolina Rooms & Parking in Rome!

Great clean place
My stay at Paolina Rooms was a great, no-frills option in a fantastic location. The rooms were minimal but functional—perfect for a place to sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The host was very accommodating and friendly, which made our stay feel very welcoming.
I was looking for a centrical place, I found it near, secure and clean. A great experience to enjoy Roma's downtown. I could walk around until night and return with whole tranquillity.
This was a wonderful hostel. Spotless, staff go out of their way to help and the location is perfect. I will be recommending to all my friends in Australia who are heading to Rome.

An absolutely marvellous experience. The staff went out of their way to help me sort out a problem I encountered, the place was sparking clean, location is bang in the middle of Rome. A true gem.
Perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood, yet just a short distance from Termini Train Station, the Colosseum, and Piazza Venezia. The owner is very friendly, and it offers great value for money.

An overall great stay! The area made us unsure at first, but after entering the building the room was very nice and cleaned well. All attractions were within a 20 minute walk. I couldn't of asked for a better place to stay!

We had a fantastic stay! The property was very centrally located, just around the corner from lots of cafes and shops. The host was great! We would definitely be back to this property- a hidden gem in Rome!
Pro: Comodissimo e centrale, stanza all’ultimo piano di un palazzo storico. Vista sui tetti di Roma! Contro: Non impeccabile la pulizia (ho trovato una matassa di capelli nelle lenzuola del mio letto), ma ha tutto ciò che serve per un dormitorio.
