2 loud snoring people and someone was shouting at 2 am also my whole body was bitten by potentially bed bugs honestly not satisfied

Inconsiderate local (London) guests who use this as main home with no concern for other guests (play music, talk on phone while others are sleeping) Was told ‘rooms are not for sleeping’ Staff were pleasant but afraid to intervene- I was allowed to move rooms at my suggestion. Also; Bed bugs (sic). 2 Triple bunks back to back (noisy when ANYONE moves) and no curtains or personal light to create private space (only bright ceiling lights with one wall switch), so either dazzlingly bright or pitch dark at night.

Disappointing experience Upon entering my 9-bed mixed dormitory, I encountered a troubling odor, indicating a lack of cleanliness or hygiene standards. The state of the bathrooms, particularly the shower floors, further raised concerns about cleanliness. The condition of my assigned mattress was unacceptable, as it appeared unclean. These factors, combined with the odor and the bartender's acknowledgment of other guests' similar complaints, led to my decision to check out. With the recent outbreak of bedbugs I expected better hygiene in your hostel. I believe that hostels should maintain high standards of cleanliness and comfort. PubLove - The Rose and Crown failed to meet these standards during my stay. I was extremely disappointed. I have used hostels a lot in London and Europe. I have never had to leave and find a new hostel the same day. I had travelled from the airport to here and was extremely tired and did not need this additional stress. I managed to find a better hostel and left immediately. The stress, disgust and cost all contributed to this poor situation. I kindly request that you address these issues promptly and implement measures to improve cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hostel.
