+ Compared to other properties we have stayed at very basic and poor value for money.
- Rooms were unloved and cold. Just a kerosine (fumet) heater

- まず、お部屋が写真と違います。本当に昔の家の畳部屋一室みたいなところが部屋で、お部屋に何もありません。押入れと、机だけの部屋で、自分で敷布団を敷いて、シーツとかも全部自分でやらなくちゃいけない。
+ Nulla. Appena abbiamo visto la camera, già pagata, ce ne siamo andati e abbiamo prenotato in un altro hotel. Camera puzzolente, muri scrostati, ragnatele nella doccia. Le foto non sembrano proprio corrispondere alla realtà. Peraltro camera più costosa di tutte le altre in cui siamo stati, un prezzo del tutto ingiustificato.
- Non mi è piaciuto niente.
- 他の客を見なかったのは良いとしても、スタッフの影さえ見えなかった。 結局、誰とも合わなかった。
- カメムシが布団の中 部屋を飛んでる 電気の中 窓枠に死骸 洗面所に死骸 床に潰れたカメムシ カメムシの殺虫剤が置いてありますが、かけても全然死にませんでした！ なので全部手で掴んで外に投げた。 ティッシュ越しでも虫を触るのが本当にいやで 本当に嫌でした。 翌日シーツを剥がして布団をタンスに戻してと前日に言われて、虫が嫌すぎて断りましたが 決まりなんでやってもらわないと困りますって言われた 本当に虫が嫌いなのでシーツを剥がして、布団とシーツにいるカメムシをみて、こいつと一緒に寝てたと思うのが本当に嫌だったので本当に地獄でした 寝る前に潰れたカメムシ臭くて、どこにいるか分からず 翌日枕元にもいて本当に鳥肌が止まりませんでした
+ 前日に検索して、一名だけ空きが有り、安くなっていたので予約した👍️。通常価格よりも安く泊まれて、経済的には 良かった👍️
- 宿泊者の殆どは中華系の若者と子供連れの家族。夜遅くまで大きな話し声や電話の声がうるさく迷惑。日本人が運営していた民宿が売りに出され、新しいオーナーがリノベーションして所狭しとベッドを配置した造りであった😅。日本らしさを期待する人には不向きな施設。スタッフも外国人。対応は事務的😅。安さ のメリットは有るものの、「お・も・て・な・し」は期待しないで下さい😢。
- 2日続けて同じ素材の料理にがっかり テレビがない お風呂がない
- 電子レンジを掃除しておいて下さい。

I had an amazing time staying here! All of the staff were so welcoming and helpful. If you sign up to have breakfast and dinner, the staff cooks meals and they’re delicious. Within walking distance of Tashiro station ropeway, you can walk right to the tram to take you to Kagura Ski Resort. Each night at Little Japan included complementary onsen access, which, after a long day of skiing is very welcomed. The vibe of Little Japan was cozy, jazzy and friendly.

+ Very friendly and helpful staff. The size and style of the lodge made meeting and skiing with others easy for a lone traveller.

+ Little Ichigo's location was perfect. Very easy to get to the back of the Kagura ski complex. The comfort of the stay was in line with the price. Nice showers, free rice and tea, close to an onsen. English speaking (kinda :) staff. Would stay again.
- Not Ichigo's fault, but there are very few food options in the area. Definitely bring some snacks or stock up in Yuzawa. Also bring some snow chains just in case.

+ The location was a little tricky but I can see why snowboarders would go there. As we were not there to ski or snowboard, it made it a bit of a quiet part of our trip, as there was not much to do in the nearby town. But it was nice to relax and read a book, and we went to the onsen nearby which was very good, and did a snow-shoe tour one evening. The staff were very accommodating, and the place was cosy, a little untidy but very clean.
