Booked 3 rooms for 3 nights, but unfortunately had to cancel because our passports got stolen in Copehagen. We explained the situation, showed the FIR report and asked to cancel /refund the amount. But the hotel didn't do anything although we had requested 2 days before the check in day. Very disappointed with the hotel.
I have travelled over 10 countries, I have never seen a hostel like this hostel so stingy and the receptionists are so rude. Not just my opinion, everyone here said same : this hostel is so queer . - receptionists were sooo rude, cold, treat the customers like enemies. No responds friendly and polite, especially the Indian-like man or the lady with glasses, chatted on the phone over 10 minutes, people wait for check in, she never sees. - Charge extra fees on so many things, hairdryers, soaps. Bu...
Maßlos überteuert Jugendherberge mit altem Interieur. Bettbezüge muss dazu buchen für 5€ pro Stück.
Spent two absolutely hellish nights bookending a hiking holiday. Exceptionally noisy with doors slamming all night and the most squeaky beds on the planet. Plenty of noise from neighbouring rooms too. Insufficient kitchen/bathroom facilities for the high volume of guests. Despite having about five Internet networks, none were capable of a usable connection.
I wish I slept at a public bus stop before stepping foot into this place. Now, I must admit that it looked fairly clean like every other hostel I have been in. However, be warned. I paid a bit extra for a female dorm because that is what I am comfortable with as someone who travels alone occasionally. I got my room key, verified that it was an all female dorm room, only to step one foot into the dorm with an old man berating me. Now, this man did not physically hurt me, but I have met rodents wi...
Posto inaccettabile. Oltretutto caro!
So terrible that i only stayed one of the two nights I paid for. I was very nice when checking out and told them I didn't even expect a refund. I went back to city box instead, they are legit and the price is cheaper too. Very scammy to charge 70 kroner extra for sheets and a towel, I have never encountered that in my life. Just to be able to advertise a lower price? And it's still pricier than city box. The room smelled and was hot and dirty. The whole vibe of the place was off, I got dirty loo...
A huge downgrade! I’m sorry for everyone who has visited this hostel before and enjoyed the once wonderful breakfast. In march 2023 it still was one of the best breakfasts I ever had in hotels/hostels. There were smoothies, great waffles, freshly made English breakfast, a huge diversity of stuff you could put on bread like salmon and fresh fruits. Now nothing is left. Due to changes in the management the breakfast ist now nothing special anymore. No diversity. One kind of normal cheese, one cr...
6 Euros compulsory bed linen fee? What’s next? compulsory mattress fee? Also, you can’t offer free cafe in exchange for reviews. Google explicitly prohibits businesses from offering incentives or compensation in exchange for reviews.
the most unpleasant experience of our entire trip the guys at this hotel don't have hot water or at least for our room they didn't, we had to take a cold shower, and the horror bed you say you were on the water in a boat, it moves from all the joints. The good part is that you have a wonderful panorama of the city, but you are a bit far from the city:)) and the breakfast was also good, but because of the lack of sleep in these beds and the cold shower, they made it a 1

Excellent hostel with a lovely overview of the fjords. Great sense of community with really friendly and accommodating staff. One of the best hostels I've stayed in as a solo traveler.
Great location with a view of the city and at the base of the hike up to Ulriken. There is a small grocery store one block away. For couples, it will be good to know that the mattresses will come off of the bunk beds and fit on the floor, with no room to spare. (Other reviews wrongly indicated that they would not fit) Also, great breakfast is included.
Konum olarak şehir merkezine uzak kalsa bile hizmet, kahvaltı, bulunduğu yerdeki manzara harika, çalışanlar çok arkadaş canlısı, içeride satılan ürünler piyasa fiyatında, güzel bir seçenek
Best location to live around on holidays. Closer to one of the 7 mountain trail Ulriken and many more trails are nearby.
one of best ever hostels. perfect organized, clean, friendly, great choices at breakfast, we had a double room. the view down to city center breathtaking. bus every half hour to city center.
The obvious choice if you choose to stay in Bergen on a budget. It's a spacious guesthouse located at the mountain side, with spectacular view over city center. Amazing staff and volunteers. Recommended!
One of the best experience living on Bergen hostel, you have the opportunity to meet a lot of different adventurous people from around the world and plan your group trips. It is quite difficult to sleep in a shared room.
Wspaniały widok Pokój czysty obsługa fantastyczna Na miejscu silownia pompong sniadania i to wszystko w cenie
Enough rooms, full of travelers and international. The reception is open 24h, the stuff is very friendly and kind. Organised hiking trips, rich buffet for breakfast and many other paying options from the kitchen if you don't want to cook your own meal in the shared one. The best part, it is position just at the beginning of Mt Ulriken hiking trail
Very nice hostel in fact the best I have visited. The view you will not find better and goes for the staff too 👍😊
Very far from city centre and up a very steep hill, so walking is a bit of an undertaking. But great facilities, breakfast provided, nice staff, comfortable bed and good wifi. Tea and coffee only available between 5 30 and 6 30pm (but it's free). Also many families here, but the staff organise group activities and the like.
...ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo; ideale per chi non ha grandi pretese e cerca una sistemazione tranquilla e non troppo costosa. Certamente la qualità del servizio e la cortesia del personale son dei fiori all occhiello. Consigliata! :))
Can't really say anything about the hostel, but they offer the service to let you use their parking lot to park your car when you go hike in the mountains. The number of parking places is limited and you need to go inside to pay for your visit, which is more cumbersome than other car parks.
Clean and mostly quiet hostel. On the large side so seems a little impersonal but that's probably just me. Only negative side is the kind of confusing bus system to get back into Bergen, this place is up in the hills overlooking the city. However if you're up for some hiking and general outdoor enjoyment this is definitely the place.
The youth hostel Montana was super nice ! We spent 3 days there : - The staff is so kind, and helped us a lot by giving advices about what things to do in Bergen and how - The room was clean, a bit tiny but it's fine, it's a youth hostel :) - The breakfasts on the mornings are super nice and complete - The only drawback could be the location (20-30 min by bus) but it's well organized because there is a bus stop next to the hostel - The common areas are super fine to meet people You can go there,...
Das Team ist super freundlich. Die Aussicht vom Berg fantastisch. Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
Lovely place full of kind people. All facilities are superb. Breakfast was very delicious.
