I put a 1 for security because I was deceived by the management. I wrote a mail asking if I could stay longer, the answer was "yes no problem". I learned only later, when it was too late for me to move out, that they had increased the price by 33%, from 43 to 59. This is very dishonest, to put it politely, and the most expensive dorm bed I have paid in my long life of travelling! It was not even a nice dorm, since there were no curtains to protect my privacy and to protect me from the light.

There was bad bugs in our room. At least they offered us a couch to stay instead of the bugged bed.

Bed Bugs, Rude Staff, Completely unprofessional. Waited over 30 mins to check-in only for them to bill me more than what was paid already via hostel-world Would give zero stars but the minimum is a 2.0

No lo recomiendo, instalaciones regulares, la ubicación es lo único bueno. El personal fue grosero, en particular un chico de cabello rubio. Casi nunca hay alguien en recepción, estuve más de una hora esperando en la entrada para poder pasar. Si quieren pasar un mal rato hospedense aquí.

The property isn’t anything special but an easy walk from the station. I felt uncomfortable with the staff but the other residents were great

some long term stay weird men in my dorm made me felt very unsafe, weird and silence, make weird disgusting noise on purpose during sleeping ,can’t fall asleep ! especially an guy who almost can’t speak English and took drug, very dangerous and rude to me , I escaped into toilet in midnight and this Indian guy chasing me out later and shouted to me thats scary, couldn’t understand why hostel allow such awful people to stay, brings a bad reputation of course that you deserve

horrible hostel, the bathroom was always disgusting and the room smelled constantly. Barely any changing points. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Please spend a few more euros to get something more decent.

We found bed bugs in the room and the hostel was unwilling to fully refund us.

Pésima experiencia, ropa de cama sucia y con mal olor (pedimos cambio), pulgas en camas y piso, salimos todos picados. Hay 1 solo baño para todos y con espacio muy reducido.

I did not get the same room which i booked. instead, i had to adjust in a small room with common bathroom. Based on value to money i would rate it zero. Even the bed was not in shape.

Andrea was super nice, friendly, and helpful. The hostel was clean, in a great location, there was a little cafe downstairs with good pastries and expresso. 10 minute or less walk to the termini, and lots of security locks in place. The beds were super comfortable too. I would definitely stay again if I go back to Rome.

I really enjoyed my stay at Roman Holidays! The staff were helpful and very kind, and the amenities were good. The location also suited my travel needs well, as it was a short walk from the Roman Termini train station.

Nice hostel ran by a cute family. Next to the central station. One dormitory is on the street side. Most bedrooms are on the calm side. Tiny kitchen but it works well. Vegan italian restaurant is just downstairs.

Staff was not present to check me in, had to wait like 30 minutes. they pics make the place seem way bigger but in reality it’s 5 beds all within a small room. my bed was touching the exit door which was not the best.

Awesome and cozy hostel. Beds were too good and it was super clean. It is spacious that other hostels I've been to. Also host is good. 10/10

Overall, it was a great stay. Super friendly staff. Safe and secure building. Very clean. Only thing I would say is that staff had their children running around at night while they were there and they would open our door randomly. We eventually had to lock it to keep them from running in. Also, on the morning of check out, there were no staff at the front desk to help us check out. We eventually had to call them to ask what we need to do. Without calling, I did not know how to properly check out

Decent for the value. The location is incredible, but me and my friend found it difficult to find at first. Not a very comfortable common space, wifi did not reach the rooms, and keep in mind you are not allowed in your room between 10am and 2pm for the rooms to be cleaned. If you want somewhere cheap with a good location to just have a place to sleep this is a good choice.

Highly recommend, located in a safe area, close to any attraction by foot or public transportation. The owners are nice people and will do their best to feel like home.

Everything was great and the staff was extremely friendly. The only issue I faced was that the showers were very temperamental and had hot water for like 30 seconds before becoming cold. Also note that there is no age limit for the dorms, which could be uncomfortable for younger travellers!

Hands down the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at.The place was spotless and very comfortable, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The owners were genuinely kind and made me feel welcome from the first moment. Having access to kitchen was a huge plus. The location couldn’t be better, easy to reach, close to attractions, and well connected. Everything about this hostel made the stay smooth and enjoyable. I’d happily come back and strongly recommend it to anyone.

Great location , easy check in system , quality hygiene , warm and cosy , kitchen equipped and stocked and owner very friendly and kind . Best place for your stay in rome .

Ambience is top as they keep hygienic quality as their priority. Checking in is very smooth as described in detail online as well . Kitchen well equipped and stocked , you just need to find time to be your own chef in the kitchen . No matter how cold or strange it gets outside but at Roman holidays you will always feel warm like home and the owner Ciprian and his wife as friends and family . They make everyone's stay as comfortable as it could ever get . I definitely recommend everyone

This Hostel was great! The beds were SO comfy, like more comfortable than my bed at home. Hosts were super friendly, and flexible with me arriving super late due to my flight getting in super late. They also gave us free cookies and oranges since we had to get up early for our flight home! My first experience staying in a hostel, and truly a great one. Location was good, we were able to walk to all the main attractions (Colosseum, Fountain, etc.) within about 30mins. Great time!

Very pleasant stay! Staff were super friendly and gave us excellent advice on sightseeing! Clean and neat place and good positioning! Totally recommend!

Foarte frumos, curat,primitori.. Multe avantaje din punct de vedere că locația este bine situata in centrul Romei ,aproape de gara,de Colosseum ,Fontana de Trevi și multe alte atracții turistice! Deci recomand cu drag și cu încredere ROMAN HOLIDAY! MULȚUMESC PENTRU OSPITALITATE!

Great place, close to Termini and all the important key points. We almost never used the public transportation, as we walked and enjoyed walking everywhere. (20min to Colosseum, 20 to Trevi - we went to see them at night too. Staff is very helpful and kind. They gave us tricks to enter museums, and also they shared some food they made themselves. (it was veeery tasty). Highly recommend for position, clean place, and kind staff.

I loved the hostel, the owners are so nice, when I arrived they where cooking and invited me to join them, that was so kind. I loved that we had ensuite bathroom and the kitchen was very well equipated. The location is not the best, but its okay.

The hosts are incredibly friendly. 10/10 recommended. I had a wonderful time.
