Pretty rough experience overall. When we arrived, staff were accusing another guest of not paying, which immediately felt sketchy. Because of that, we decided to film ourselves paying just in case. Good thing we did, because when we checked out they tried to say we hadn’t paid either. Once we showed the video, they got quiet and backed off instead of apologizing, which says a lot. Also, quiet hours clearly aren’t enforced. At 3 a.m. people were yelling and jumping in the pool
Looks nothing like the photos , it smelt really bad, cockroaches all over our bedroom we left within 10 mins of arriving in the hostel. Wouldn’t stay
Terrible, te dejan sin camas al hacer overbooking, aunque de muy buena guisa te ofrecen dormir en el suelo del bar. Nah 10/10
Terrible, you get left without a bed when you overbook, although very kindly they offer to sleep on the bar floor.
Unsafe and unclean. Bedroom, front, and bathroom doors didn’t lock. As two female travellers, we felt extremely vulnerable. Staff were rude, unprofessional, and slept in communal areas, as well as clipping their toenails there. Bike rentals were faulty and dangerous (brakes didn’t work & chain continuously fell off), with no help or solution offered. The hostel was nothing like advertised—run-down, dirty, unusable pool, and completely lacking basic security. Avoid at ALL costs.
This place is quite literally a building site so the whole place smells like smoke and sounds like hammers. The conditions are some of the worse I've seen in a year plus of traveling. They say there's no toilet paper because of asain culture but there's no justification for there not being any soap outside of the bathroom. A lot of people here have different stomach issues and I'm pretty sure it's because the lack of hygiene in the whole hostel. they do have ac though witch is nice
Pire hostel que j’ai fais. Mon lit était dégueulasse, j’ai demandé 2 fois qu’on me change les draps avant que ça soit fais. Les salles de bain pareil sont sales. Les photos ne correspondent plus à l’hostel et la piscine alors là j’en parle même pas. On m’a réveillé 3 fois le matin 9h/10h20 et 11h30, je n’ai pas vraiment compris pourquoi sachant que ce n’était pas l’heure du check out. Franchement je ne recommande pas, il y a pleins d’hostel pas chère à Gili T, al...
My bed was disgusting, I asked twice to change my sheets before it was done. The same bathrooms are dirty. The photos no longer match the hostel and the pool so there I am not even talking. I was woken up 3 times in the morning at 9/10:20 and 11:30 am, I really didn't understand why knowing it wasn't time to check out. Frankly I don't recommend it, there are plenty of not-so-cheerful hostels in Gili T, go elsewhere.
The building is old. The room doors don’t lock. Hostel staff stay in the rooms. Not all the fans work and the rooms are BOILING. Not happy
Terrible hostel. It felt like I was homeless and squatting. Bathrooms were small and usually 6-8 people using it at once. The pool was under construction and just looked disgusting though people were still using it. My friends private room (which was $20 a night, so expensive) felt like a prison and actually flooded. And the staff were too much, inappropriate following us around and even came in my room to wake me when I was sleeping. Don’t stay here!
Las imagenes han de ser de su hostal hermano, no tienen piscina, el baño muy descuidado, incluso sobre la pared hay una grieta que si mueves tantito puedes ver a la persona de a lado… he pagado lo mismo por alojamientos más cuidados en Bali, no me gustó, estuve 2 noches, la habitación que me tocó olía mucho a humedad, me tocó litera y se sentían muchos los barrotes de la cama a través del colchón.
The pictures have to be of your hostel hermano, they don't have a pool, the bathroom is very sloppy, even on the wall there is a crack that if you move a little you can see the person next to you... I paid the same for more careful accommodation in Bali, I didn't like it, I stayed 2 nights, the room that I touched smelled a lot of moisture, I touched the bed and there were a lot of bed bars through the mattress.
the dorms smelled like p***, the beds weren’t comfy and they moved every time someone moved. free breakfast is good, but that’s the only thing. wouldn’t go back

Was such a lovely experience staying here. It felt like I was right at home. The staff are so so friendly and shoutout to eko for his amazing singing!!! I honestly can’t recommend this hostel enough, I will be back.
Overall nice, stayed in 4 bed dorm and it was a very small room. Not all beds have outlet. The door was only able to close with kind of a hasp. So if you want to leave the room and close the door, you basically lock the door from outside and the people still in the room can’t get out. Same if you close the door from inside, people can’t get in from the outside. Same locks/door closing mechanism was on the toilets. Also really bad water flow, I could not rinse out shampoo. Very nice staff!

Such a good place to stay, tree house vibes Friendly staff treat you like family 10/10 stay! i eneded up extending a few days gili t will have my heart ❤️ would recommend 1000% Lots of activities to get involved in as solo travelling You wont feel alone here

Incredible value hostel. On top of this, after leaving my coat and embarking back to Bali, I got in contact with a staff member called eko who worked tirelessly to return my coat to me. He organised a courier for my coat free of charge and kept in contact throughout. A true hero who I cannot thank enough. The staff go above above and beyond. A real feel good hostel, would thoroughly recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay! The room was clean, not expensive and had an air conditioner! The pool was very nice! The breakfast was amazing with fried rice pancakes etc. The staff were extremely nice helpful and very welcoming! Also the activities were so much fun! We would especially thank Ariel and Echo who really helped us during our stay and always brought so much positive energy to the hostel! Because of them connecting to other travelers was very easy!
Lovely chilled hostel. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Me and my girlfriend were here for 4 nights and loved every minute. Staff were so attentive and helped with anything we threw at them - from day trips, to ferry rides and even medical help when I injured myself. The hostel itself had everything you need and they even let you use the kitchen. Breakfast is included every morning - pancakes, rice and fruit. Which is a lovely touch. Would 100% recommend!

Great team and location! Everything was clean but the bed sheets and everything was still stained. It smelled clean but didn’t look like that. If that’s okay for you, you’re gonna be fine at La Boheme. Hang out with Ariel, he’s great!

Gutes Hostel mit tollem Preisleistungsverhältnis. Es gibt einen Pool, viele Aktivitäten und das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Besonderen Dank an Rooney, der sich viel Zeit für die Gäste nimmt und mir viele Tips gegeben hat!

Loved our stay here !!!! Shout out to Ariel for the best breaky and all the other lads for making our stay so enjoyable. Really helpful & friendly staff always down for a laugh & Mr Bikeman himself sorted us out with some bikes to get around the island which was great!!! Not a far walk to the main street and lots of affordable Warungs around. Heaps of cozy spots to hang out and the pool was so well kept and refreshing!!!
Super süsses Hostel für einen unschlagbaren Preis!! Das Privatzimmer war extrem gross und sauber. Das Personal ist extrem lieb und haben dort 4 super Tage erlebt!! Sehr zu empfehlen, Preis-Leistung ist top!

Personnel tres aimable, hostel chill si vous voulez échapper à la fête de Gili T, c’etait également la basse saison donc peu de choses d’organisées mais c’etait quand meme facile de rencontrer des gens
The staff is very friendly, hostel chill if you want to escape the Gili T festival, it was also the low season so little things were disorganized but it was easy to meet people when I was there.
