On a prit cette auberge à deux filles. On s’est retrouvé dans une chambre avec 15 hommes, la musique à fond dans les écouteurs, un téléphone qui a sonné toute la nuit, une atmosphère très pesante et on a eu peur toute la nuit. Ils ne filtrent pas les profils, les hommes étaient certains très âgés et très négligé, devant notre chambre il y avait des zoneurs, pas du tout rassurant. Le seul point positif c'est qu’il est situé en pleins centre
We took this hostel with two girls. we ended up in a room with 15 men, the music was playing loudly in the headphones, a phone that rang all night, a very heavy atmosphere and we were scared all night. they don't filter the profiles, some of the men were very old and very neglected, in front of our room there were zone watchers, not at all reassuring. the only positive point is that it is located right in the center
Absolutely awful. Did not feel safe and the place was filthy. The only good thing was the front desk gent who was super helpful and friendly.
Quite literally the most disgusting and least social hostel I have ever stayed at.
Das Hostel war sehr unsicher. Kein Personal vor Ort, schwache Sicherheitsvorkehrungen und unangenehme Situationen wie Diebstähle, sehr kranke Leute, die die ganze Nacht schniefend herumliefen, halb nackte Männer, lautes Telefonieren,… Zudem sah ich Personen, die sich in unangemessener Weise mit +18-Inhalten beschäftigten. Das Nachtpersonal war unhöflich. Es gibt keine Sicherheit, da die Rezeption in einem anderen Gebäude ist und jeder ungehindert ins Hostel kommen kann.
The hostel was very unsafe. No staff on site, weak security measures and unpleasant situations such as Thefts, very sick people, sniffing around all night, half-naked men, loud phone calls,... Also I saw Persons who engaged in inappropriate way with +18-Content. The night staff was rude. There is no security, as the Reception is in another building and anyone can come into the hostel unhindered.
Our deposit fee has not been paid yet. I will talk about this everywhere, I am writing to you on WhatsApp, you ignore me It's been 5 days Although it was said that the deposit fee would be paid upon exit, it was not paid, so it is not worth 5 cents. Do not trust them and do not give a single penny deposit. You can stay in other hostels for the same price. I send messages on WhatsApp and they ignore me You can be sure that I will badmouth you everywhere.

I love staying in Amsterdam in hostel, usually I stay at the white tulip or flying pig but I booked a different one for a change. However to my deepest regret and frustration this is one of the worst hostels in Amsterdam if you care about the staff helpful/friendliness and safety. And goodluck if you in the top bed, one side didn’t have bars and the others broke off during the night. Very “fun” waking up nearly off your bed. Never staying here again
DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY, they severely over charge for everything, they change my booking details and charged my card with no warning or confirmation and when I confronted them about it they did nothing, this is appalling, and even after paying apparently 200 euros, we were given a room with 12 people in it a toilet with no sink and a shower that was cold and didn’t drain properly
The room was very crowded, 10 people for a tiny bathroom with zero space. It was waful and I did not felt that safe.. the staff was very nice though. Only spent 1 night and left for another hostel.
The location was good but the price is not worth it. There are much better hostels in Amsterdam for the same price that are cleaner and have better facilities. If you are over 5’8, you will not fit in the bed.

Ok the location was perfect and the staff were super nice but it was very moldy in the bathroom and made us pretty sick, and really really dirty overall mostly the bathrooms. It was tough I wouldn’t recommend at least not for more than a day or two.
The shared room for all girls was disgusting. Open food packages and alcohol bottles from other guests in the middle of the room despite asking us not to bring alcohol to the hotel. One of our beds was airy as if someone would have been sleeping there before we arrived.

Location is perfect, the staff was incredible nice. The vibe wasn't the best but thats not fault of the staff but the hosts. Needs more facilities specially for food.

It was definitely a value for money option. For the price it was great, but nothing special about it. My stay was not in the main building, they asked me to go in the building on the next street, felt kinda shady outside the property at night and there's no stay there so definitely felt a lack of safety. Also, one thing that was definitely off putting was the placement of the beds in the dorm. Two bunk beds were sticking to each other, side-by-side. Ofcourse there was a tiny partition sort of a ...

Has everything that a hostel needs. Great deal for such a price, would definitely come back herę.
Good for one or two nights, the location and views are great and some members of the staff are quite nice. The others, not very helpful and there's lots of extra charges like storing luggage after checkout which are often free. The stairs are indeed super narrow (Dutch buildings) haha but if you know beforehand it's not a big deal. Also a bit noisy at night, which is expected. Overall, not terrible, if you happen to end up here it's okay. I appreciated the hot showers and clean spaces.
Posizione ottima nel centro di Amsterdam. Il wi-fi tuttavia non funzionava, le camere non sono dotate di box per i bagagli da poter serrare coi lucchetti(bensì solo di banali armadietti in cui a mala pena si possono mettere le scarpe. Inoltre ho trovato il personale di reception sgarbato, che si è lamentato del fatto che ci stessimo confrontando in Italiano con i miei compagni di viaggio mentre si discuteva riguardo i soldi da dare.
The wi-fi however did not work, the rooms are not equipped with luggage boxes that can be locked with lockets, only banal lockets where you can hardly put your shoes. plus I found the reception staff rude, who complained about the fact that we were confronting in Italian with my fellow travelers while discussing about the money to be given.
mehr Sauberkeit, mehr große Schließfächer (nicht ausreichend für jedes Bett), stabilere Betten, Gemeinschaftsraum, Kühlschrank, Küche, funktionierende Lichtsensoren in den Bädern, kostenlose Gepäckaufbewahrung, gemütlichere Kopfkissen
More cleanliness, more large lockers (not sufficient for every bed), more stable beds, common area, refrigerator, kitchen, functioning light sensors in the bedrooms, free luggage storage, more comfortable head pillows
I was not happy with them
Maybe we had bad luck with the people that were in our room. They were very weird. There was also a lot of guys in the mixed dorm so just keep that in mind when booking as a girl
Muy Bueno! Me gustaría que haya cocina, pero el resto todo de 10. Tiene todo lo que necesitas.
I wish there was a kitchen, but the rest of the 10's have everything you need.

Very good location, the people at the reception were nice and helpful. The room was clean, just like the bathroom. Some things would need a bit of repair, but it doesn't really impact the stay. Overall a great place for a few days in Amsterdam, with everything close by

if you just need a place to lay your head then it’s alright. the rooms smelt pretty bad - not a whole lot of cleaning. not social at all, and absolutely no privacy. besides them being cheap metal bunks with no curtain, the beds weren’t actually that bad. the gentleman at the front desk was actual pleasant but the lady that works there is one of the rudest people i’ve ever had an encounter with. every response came with an eye roll, sigh and the worst attitude. also prepare for the crazy st...
You get what you pay for... The beds weren't too uncomfy but some of the sheets had holes in them & the room itself wasn't particularly clean. The bathroom was in especially bad shape-- both the toilet & the showers smelt absolutely awful, and you could see mold on the walls and on the shower curtain. Also, despite the lack of privacy, everyone there was very antisocial + people were sleeping all hours of the day, I never spoke above a whisper and the lights were constantly off. Weird place.
