Phan Anh Backpackers Hostel

The location is in an alleyway close to backpackers street area. There is no free breakfast as advertised. The reception either had no idea about my booking or purposefully tried to act as if they didn't, just to charge me extra. The bed was comfortable but i saw a bedbug, rooms clean, washroom very small but cleanish.

Stayed in a private room for two nights. Room clean and the bed was comfortable except for the AC that was leaking all night and I had to endure the sounds of drips and a soaking wet floor! Staff were not the friendliest, slightly unhelpful too. Very unsociable hardly any atmosphere here. Wish I went to Saigon Chill in hostel sooner.

Used by companies like G Adventures, it’s comfortably clean. Breakfast is decent. A bit overpriced IMO but is a reasonable place to stay.

I stayed here with G adventures an extra day after my trip and it was pretty empty after the trip group left. The rooms were clean and private. Very close to the bar street and walking distance to most of the big tourist sites. Breakfast was lackluster.

Location, breakfast, elevator & Hue at the front desk were awesome! Would have been nice to have another bathroom but overall decent stay for the price. Pictures must be super old though bc it looks nothing like them now

Tucked behind a main road, just round the corner from walking street. Great location but still quiet at night. We booked the tunnels tour through the hostel and it was great and at a good price. The room was big enough, clean and the bed was comfy!Everything worked in the room, a fridge is always a great extra to have. Shower was hot and good pressure, all in all i would stay here again.

The private room was really nice, and the common area downstairs was big and quite sociable.

Nice hostel and good value breakfast but I did get THAT bed in the dorm for the first couple of nights lol. I would have been good to know in advance, I probably would've booked another place due to the complete lack of privacy but it wasn't that bad in the end. Still very good value for money👍🏼

Great staff. A little quiet but the perfect place to rest and be away from the Chaos of Saigon

Top Hostel in Ho Chi Minh! Very friendly staff and super clean. It’s close to the walking street and center, so it’s not a fully quiet place, but bc it’s in this alleyway it’s alright with earplugs.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet établissement, qui ressemble presque à un hôtel ! Le petit déjeuner est bon, la chambre était très propre, la petite rue est très calme mais l’hébergement est proche de tous les lieux d’intérêt, et surtout, un grand merci au personnel qui était très gentil, arrangeant et à l’écoute. Je recommande pour un séjour à Ho Chi Minh !

Great hostel for chilling away from the madness of the strips, if that’s what you’re looking for. Very helpful staff and great/clean facilities.

I loved this place so much! Booked a private room and it was super clean, spacious and nice. Only feedback would be that the A/C was not cold. But apart from that, everything is great. There's breakfast, and staffs were really nice as well. Very homely :)
