La struttura è molto accattivante ma una volta entrati i servizi sono pessimi (inesistenti o sempre a pagamento). Abbiamo prenotato perchè risultava esserci una cucina che in realtà non hanno, il che è stato un bel problema per noi e nessuno ci è venuto incontro per risolvere la situazione. Bagni sporchi, camere non insonorizzate e rumorose. Servizio di custodia dei bagagli (8€ in 2) a pagamento solo per essere lasciato per terra dietro il banco della reception per qualche ora. Estuvimos 2 noches. El lugar está bastante apartado del centro. Hay un metro cerca, pero dependiendo de dónde quieras volver tardas una media de 30-40 minutos en metro. El alojamiento es bastante caro teniendo eso en cuenta. Por otro lado, no me parece justo que digan que thay cocina disponible siendo algo tan poco útil como dos microondas y un hervidor. No se puede cocinar nada. El desayuno bien. Cobran 31 euros de tasa turística aparte del precio del alojamiento.

The bathrooms were disgusting, the women’s stunk and never had any toilet paper. The actual room was fine except for the fact that they put two bunks right next to each other so I had a curtain between me and a very old man. I know it’s part of being in a mixed dorm but Jesus look at who else is in the room and assess before you put a young girl next to a very old man. The location was terrible and the area is very unsafe at night time. I moved to a hotel to avoid this

Price per night (62€) in no relation to the standard, most hostels are cheaper and better. Not very clean overall, bedding, broken lights/sinks. Mattresses covered with plastic, underneath the mattress I found trash, breadcrumbs and a poison apparatus to kill bugs. Forbidden to eat outside food anywhere but one room in the cellar, this and every other room with a sink has a bad smell. High extra costs for towels & luggage storing The rooftop is nice but one evening at 7pm they told it’...

It was extremely hot in the room, and the ventilator was way too loud. Impossible to sleep like that.

En novembre je payais moins de 30€ par nuit. Maintenant c’est presque 50€. C’est bien trop cher pour des dortoirs. De plus ça pue la transpi dans les chambres. Sinon c’est quand même une bonne auberge avec un bon emplacement et un personnel agréable.

My worst nightmare!… I got stranded on the street at 4 am because they locked the hostel door and left a phone number to call. When I stopped someone random from the street to call the number because obviously as a traveler i dont have a number, the phone number was unavailable??!! Unfortunately had to spend the night stranded on the street because nobody came to open the hostel door… This was the most traumatic experience for me as a female solo traveler… I definitely dont recommend this ...

I have been using Hostelworld for 10 years and I have never been "preauthorized" anything before. Turns out they chsrged me twice (only that the first charge will be refunded in one month). Inredible that without my consent they charged me. They charged for the use of lockers to guard your luggae, first time as well. And to make it even worst, the room had no heat (it is winter and it was freezing INSIDE the room) and the toilet seat was covered in dried pee.

Dirty shared bathrooms. blasting (terrible) music in the common space. like BLASTING. location isn’t good. would not recommend.

Das Jo&Joe liegt für uns Interrail Reisende aus der Schweiz perfekt gelegen, gleich neben der Metrostation Buzenval. Vom Jo&Joe aus kann man easy zu Fuss zum Père Lachaise gehen und auch ins Lädeliquartier Marais ist es nicht weit. Die meisten Mitarbeitenden (vor allem an der Réception) sind super nett und hilfsbereit, auch mir 50-jähriger Mutti gegenüber. Das Bar Personal im EG und auf der Dachterrasse dürfte in dieser Hinsicht noch dazulernen.Jo&Joes ist sehr empfehlenswert für junge ...

It's a great vibe at this hostel, always something fun going on. The kitchen is also good and the location is great, close to the metro and many cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and so on. The rooftop area is cozy and has power outlets. I'd say the only downside basically is that there are literally nowhere in the dorms (or showers) to put your stuff down or sit. So if you have a top bed, prepare to climb a lot. But I'd recommend this hostel for sure!

Mon séjour s’est globalement bien passé! Les gens sont très accueillants. Les lits sont confortables. Le seul point faible est pour moi le manque d’espace où l’ont peut manger nos propre conso. Et parfois la propreté des chambres et sdb. Mais dans l’ensemble c’était super !

I loved! As a woman, I felt very safe. The bedroom was clean, the bathroom too! Good infrastructure at all. Love the shows and the vibe! The workers were very kind and had good energy! I recommend!!!

My stay here was nothing short of spectacular. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with very dark rooms, amazing for sleeping after a long day of exploring Paris. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and gave great tips for exploring the city. Highly recommend staying at this hostel!

It was cool. Would stay here again if I liked Paris! Felt like the communal area was hard to get to know people at but it was a great vibe

At check-in, my card didn’t go through at first, which is normal for international travel, but the staff seemed uncomfortable, as if I wouldn’t pay. It worked on the second try, but the interaction was unpleasant. The bathrooms had very high mirrors and no toilet paper during my 4-night stay. There were abandoned items left for days. No hair dryer, broken curtains, no hand soap, and only one shower had body soap. The area around the beds was also quite dirty.

larger hostel, so it is more difficult to connect with others lots of activities that were shared with the public. the roof was nice, but the kitchen was in a basement room and there was no means to cook even an egg except with a microwave. beds were fine, and the locker sit was good. blackout windows are great but made moving around and getting up the ladder tricky

Das Hostel liegt direkt an der Metro. Die Betten sind bequem, es gibt Rollos, sodass man Privatsphäre hat. Unter den Betten sind ausziehbare Schubladen, welche abgeschlossen werden können. Wenn man diese jedoch rauszieht, ist es extrem laut, sodass es im Zimmer super unruhig ist. Für die Aufbewahrung des Gepäcks muss man Geld bezahlen.Das Personal war bemüht, hat aber nicht eine Info über die Aufteilung des Hostels gesagt (wo Küche und Bäder sind oder wie der Fahrstuhl funktioniert).

Maybe the worst hostel I’ve stayed in. Kitchen is just a fridge and microwave with very limited utensils, poorly cleaned. Advertised laundry machines out of order. Bathrooms smelled horribly of mold every day, things like toilet paper constantly out. “Social area” used by few travelers, mostly locals if you’re into that but the rooftop was quite lovely. Staff were nice, but the whole hostel was very poorly maintained. Felt like staying in an A&O hostel for a hotel price.

Pretty bad. The atmosphere is nothing but scuffed. Very unclean and just kinda overall bad vibes from everything (bathroom, beds, hallways) …idk i feel bad trashing it but this place just made me feel so uncomfortable. 💫BUT staff was so nice! Super friendly and helpful. I would recommend you stay at the people belleville if you are looking for a comparable hostel in the area. Im so sorry this negative review but if you’re a bit more introverted and just looking for chill/clean, skip.

Es gibt immer Programm, das ist toll. Dadurch, dass der Gemeinschaft Saal auch ein Restaurant und eine Bar ist, weiß man nicht echt wer zum Hostel gehört und darum ist es schwierig mit den Reisenden ins Gespräch zu kommen. Die Ausstattung und Sauberkeit ist im Allgemeinen sehr gut. Leider ist schon vieles kaputtgegangen aber nicht repariert , wie Lampen, Steckdosen, Händetrockner, Toilettenspülung, ...

I really enjoy the privacy of both the top and bottom bunks at this hostel. The issue I had with the property is the location being very far from the tourist attractions but would say it is worth it for the low price because you will need a metro pass in Paris anyways. I do have a complaint that I paid to store my stuff in a locked room the day I checked out of the hostel, but when I came back to pick my belongings up, the room was not locked. Luckily, I did not have any valuables stored. Overal...
