Cannon Fort Hotel

+ Nothing went well. Issues from start. Staff polite but not really interested in helping.

- Cold temperatures , no heat as advertised, no tv cable as advertised, breakfast found rubber band in food, Waited 20 mins for check in because no one there. Their mountain view claim was merely the cliff outside window. No idea if ac work but based on other bs advertising i assume the worst. Finally, they brought in tv from another hotel just had ytube. said that no one had cable anymore. Freezing cold and they suggested just use another blanket. I guess that was their 24 hr answer to resolve issue. We left found another great hotel with heat and clean 100 yards away. This place just don't care but can smile as they take your money based on false booking information. I will never stay at place that lies. Just be open with what they have and so much easier. and always better to pay with credit card 35 THEN PAY ATM 7-9% CHARGE.

- Un hôtel à l'abandon, poignet de fenêtre cassée, porte de la salle de bain cassée, pas d'eau en bouteille dans la chambre. Personne à la réception, il faut aller voir à l'hôtel voisin, qui doit appartenir au même propriétaire. Comme pour le petit déjeuner. Et en allant au dernier étage pour faire un billard, on a vu un gros rat dans le local de stockage du linge...

+ Nada.

- Las camas eran como tumbarse sobre una roca. Éramos 4 y siempre nos ponían 2 toallas. El desayuno era lo peor que probé en todo Vietnam, era como comer sobras masticadas. El propietario no hacía nada antes las quejas y eso que el hotel estaba totalmente vacío, solamente nos ignoraba. Estaba sucio.

- Room smelly and no heating. Bathroom was not closing I could not stay in this hostel

+ The staff was very friendly and helpful. Always willing to answer any questions with a smile on their face. The beds were comfortable. The location is good, with close proximity to restaurants, shops. Etc.

- It doesn't necessarily look like in the pictures. The bathrooms weren't clean. In one of the rooms the floor and the appliances were simply dirty. The doors didn't work properly. Either didn't close at all or had to use the locking mechanism to close the door. The hotel looked somewhat empty. The upper common area was a bit abandoned. We looked for 5 minutes to find the light.

+ Personnel très sympathique. Établissement bien situé.

- Chambre réservée sur le site et lors de notre arrivée fin d'après-midi, on nous dit que la chambre n'était pas disponible et qu'ils doivent trouver un autre hôtel pour les touristes afin de préparer notre chambre. Petit déjeuner pas très copieux (œufs, soupe, saucisses, riz)

+ La ubicación

- El hotel está muy venido abajo. La limpieza de las sabanas muy dudosa. Y la luz de la habitación titilaba le pedimos al chico de recepción si lo podía solucionar, no sucedió.

+ Everything was correct, nice to have breakfast included

- -Colazione con poca scelta (solo pane e uova -puoi scegliere di cuocerle in circa 2/3 modi differenti- o pancakes con un topping -industriale- a scelta) -La porta del bagno della camera era semi trasparente quindi, se qualcuno andava in bagno di notte, la camera si illuminava -La porta del bagno era rotta

+ Staff was nice and good location.

+ The staff was extremely friendly, helped us with renting a motorcycle and also organised a day-cruise in the bay.

+ Emplacement et rapport qualité prix

- Matelas trop dur et petit déjeuner

+ Le rooftop est super et le personnel d’accueil est très sympa et aidant. Merci Teddy pour ce superbe accueil.

+ De eigenaar/manager? spreekt erg goed Engels en heeft voor ons een leuke boottocht geregeld. Omdat onze bus die dag al om 16.30 uur naar Hanoi vertrok heeft hij geregeld ( tegen kleine betaling) dat we met speedboot eerder van de tocht terug naar het hotel konden. Kamer was prima voor het lage bedrag wat je betaalt. Rustig, goede bedden en schoon

- Eigenlijk viel niets tegen Alleen bleef de badkamervloer erg nat maar met een badmat bij de douchedeur kon je toch met droge voeten je bed in.

+ We spent here 2 days, the stay was really good. Our room was quite fresh, and clean, we liked it. The hotel is nearby all the restaurants and close to the beaches, but during the night it was comfortable and silent to sleep. We enjoyed pur stay. The staff was really helpfull and friendly. They offer cruises from Panorama travel agency in a good price, motorbike is just a matter of seconds:). Really recommend the hotel when staying here. Also note that currently there is a construction site near the shore, here You don't see it and also do not hear it

+ L’hôtel est d’une propreté irréprochable et bénéficie d’un emplacement idéal, très pratique pour découvrir les environs. Tout est facilement accessible, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Le personnel est exceptionnel : chaleureux, professionnel et toujours prêt à aider.

+ The owners helped managed to obtain bus tickets from Hanoi and to Ninh Binh. They also booked a boat trip to Lanha bay. All were for very good prices comparing with offers we saw in both Cat Ba and Hanoi. The breakfest was okay. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The location was also good.

+ Conveniently located and easy to access, this hotel made our trip much more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us book tours at great value. Breakfast was noticeably better than at many places, offering freshly prepared eggs, pancakes, and a variety of fruits.

+ The owner was so kind and welcoming, and the rooms were spotless. You can really tell they care about their guests.
