The hostel is nog located in Sao Miguel dos Milagres which is known, though getting to Sao Miguel dos Milagres itself from there is almost impossible without a car. The owner of the hostel makes breakfast every day though the options are limited, especially if you eat vegetarian. The beds are in a very condition and they, including the pillows smell very very musty. I felt rather uncomfortable sleeping there so I would not recommend it

I was in Milagres for a NYE music festival and needed a cheap place to stay. This hostel was 20 min drive from the venue but it’s the only one in the area. Staff is really friendly and helpful - English is not widely spoken at all so you’ll need to know some Portuguese. Mainly local Brazilian tourists staying there but everyone is very nice!
