I booked Kathmandu Peace Home through Hostelworld and had a really good experience. The location is perfect—close to Thamel but in a quiet area so you can relax. The rooms are clean and comfortable for the price, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They helped me arrange transportation and gave great tips about places to visit in the city. Wi-Fi worked well, hot shower was available, and I felt safe staying there. If you're looking for a peaceful budget stay in Kathmandu.
