I booked here for 6 nights but I only stayed 2 and as soon I arrived I payed all the nights. I had to check out earlier so I asked if they could return any of the money I paid and they didn’t. They still managed to rent my room after I left so I think this people don’t care about nothing but money. No vibes over here at all. Wouldn’t recommend staying here anytime.
I never write reviews but I feel the need to. Absolutely horrible experience & the staff were disgustingly rude to me. The staff were patronizing & disrespectful in every possible way — they told me that I’m privileged & need to lower my expectations, they made fun of me for asking if they had an umbrella available, they gave me my laundry a full day later than promised (I had to sleep in a bathing suit), & when I said I was upset about it, they told me that it was my “fault.” Horrible p...
Not good value for money. The bed there is an old wooden bed and also there is no hot water in the bathroom. Not recommend.
Unfortunately they ran out of water on our second day and you couldn’t shower or flush the toilets. I’m not sure what the cause was but they didn’t apologize or anything. They would just let people walk into the bathroom with their shower bag and let them find out. A partial refund would have been appropriate in my opinion. When we arrived we asked about laundry and they told us that we had to pay. Later we found there was a washing machine in the back. Showers are cold. Pretty place other...

Overall a pleasant stay, relaxed atmosphere apart from the construction next to the communal area & kitchen that happened during the day. The mattresses were comfy but the bunks didn’t feel that stable and there is no privacy as there’s no curtains. It’s overpriced for what it is but that’s Tamarindo for you.
+ El lugar es divino.. sobre todo las partes comunes piletas lugar de relax. Pero todo esto se ve opacado por el poco interés del dueño en hacer de este Hostel UN LUGAR DONDE UNO QUIERA VOLVER. Le falta vida.. cortan la cocina y la pileta a las 22hs cuando en este lugar tan caluroso Más se requiere. Agradezco a Francesca la Srta voluntaria, una persona hermosa y muy preparada para asistir a los huéspedes siempre. La calidad humana es muy importante cuando uno viaja. Gracias Francesca🫶🏻
- No me gustó tener que solicitar ayuda a atención al cliente DEBIDO A LA FALTA DE REFRIGERACIÓN EN LA COCINA. Más allá de que está publicado Con heladera, la zona es MUY CALUROSA, debe funcionar la heladera y tener un FREZZER. uno contrata un servicio y abona por ello, debe funcionar hecho me costó bastante caro. El lugar donde se desayuna y las habitaciones deben tener un ventilador. Además tuve una mala experiencia con el voluntario Franco quien me faltó el respeto a mí y a otra huésped, este señor no está capacitado para estar al frente de una recepción de un Hostel. Jamás se deja a una huésped sin respuesta y se la maltrata. Nunca había experimentado esta situación en ninguno de mis viajes. Una mañana no encontré mi comida en la heladera que tenía mi nombre. No quise alertar a nadie ya que la situación sobre la heladera hizo que se me mire como una persona conflictiva cuando solo reclamé algo que había pagado
- El glamping era una carpa, hacia mucho calor adentro, la recepcionista no hablaba español y el agua se corta..

+ The kitchen was big and there were a lot of bathrooms as well as a place to wash and hang your own clothes. The pool and hangout area were also nice, but the pool was dirty. AC in the room was a win!
- They didn’t have any privacy curtains around the bed! The kitchen could have used some better supplies (more cutting boards & knives were super dull) and fridge needed cleaned. Also, the water pressure in the showers alternated between a drip and full on blast. It was far from the beach.

Great hostel, chill vibe with nice people. Beds were fine, the ac got turned on at night so that was great. The kitchen was big enough to cook with multiple people but the pans were disappointing. Still, I’d definitely recommend!

+ Tolles, sauberes und komfortables Hostel. In der Nacht im Zelt etwas warm. Aber kann man nichts machen. Küche top ausgestattet und gepflegt! Gratis Kaffee!

+ Near to everything in Tamarindo. Kitchen facities were a big plus.
The propert was nice and the volunteers were welcoming. The hostel seems to be run by them which I think is not correct as it takes jobs from locals and the owner has free labour. The pool was nice. The thing I would like is for them to plant some herbs so people can use them for cooking ;)
Excellent service and a very clean, cozy place. Chia, Juani, and Nikte make you feel right at home, they truly are the best!

- Las hamacas olían a olor corporal feo, los utensilios de cocina, eran viejos, uno de los recepcionistas era muy malcriado y me habló feo, porque dice que no puse bien el reciclaje

Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Not too many people crammed into one space
Decent hostel, you get what's advertised! It's a little out of the way (not too far but it is a 20min walk to the beach). It's fairly rustic but simple and clean. Bathrooms are OK, I actually prefer the dorm-style bathrooms where there are many located in one place. It's cleaned very regularly, which I appreciated. Rooms also have A/C. Staff were nice and they also sell locks for the lockers. I didn't use the pool or the kitchen but they looked decent. All in all exactly what you would picture w...

+ Les volontaires étaient géniaux et nous ont super bien accueillis. Les lieux sont très propres, l’extérieur est super agréable et on peut y passer des heures. Tout était parfait. Nous avons dormi dans une tente et c’était super bien aménagé. Situation géographique parfaite. Et une petite mention pour les volontaires qui ont vraiment été accueillants.

+ Everything was as pictured. Very comfortable hammocks. Room was pretty bare bones but had some thoughtful touches like tables and plenty of hangers. Bed was comfy.
- The only thing I didn’t like was right behind my head through the thin walls in the room each morning one of the staff near the washers was playing her music or shows very loudly that I could hear sooo easily

+ Einzigartig! Muss man mal gemacht haben. Tolle große und bequeme Zelte! Die Betten waren so bequem, es war einfach nur toll.
