I absolutely loved my stay here 😊 The area is calm, safe, and peaceful, and as a solo female traveler I always felt very comfortable — even at night. The metro is very close, making it easy to get around Medellín. The beds are comfortable, everything is clean, and the owner + team are incredibly kind and welcoming. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back !

Hostal Galería de la Montaña is not one of those very big or super social hostels, but if you're looking for a place to feel like home in Medellín, where you feel seen and appreciated this is the place to be. It's also located in a very pretty and safe area of Medellín, with easy access to the metro and the rooms and bathroom are comfortable and clean. I will be coming back every time I'm in Medellín, if only to say hi to Victor!
The best hostel! Victor and Angie are very nice and really make the place feel like home. The kitchen is clean, well equipped and new, the beds are amazing and the neighbourhood is safe, quiet and not touristy at all - but very close to the metro! Will definitely come back if I am ever in Medellin again! 🌞
I would recommend this hostel in Medellín, to everyone! Such a nice and laid back vibe, owners are great, helpful and kind. They were always ready to help, talk or hang out. Such a great place! Right near a metro, in a great neighbourhood as well.
Hermoso lugar en Medellín, sin dudas volvería. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, el lugar está siempre limpio y el barrio es muy tranquilo y seguro. Los anfitriones Victor y Angie son muy amables y te la hacen pasar bárbaro, súper recomendado.
Estuvimos en el hostal 12 días. Si buscas una opción cómoda, tranquila y accesible a todos los puntos turísticos de Medellín, definitivamente este es tu lugar. Mención especial para sus anfitriones Víctor, Angie y Stiven que te hacen sentir como en casa desde el primer día y encima te hacen probar comida riquísima. Volvería sin dudas.
Une super auberge, très bien placée dans le quartier calme de Laureles, proche du métro et du supermarché. Les chambres doubles et les dortoirs sont propres, spacieux et confortables. La salle de bain et la cuisine sont très propres. Et l'accueil est chaleureux. Je recommande pour les courts comme pour les longs séjours

Victor and his family provided me with one of the most amazing hostel experiences I have ever had. The location is in a wonderful spot in Laurales. Close to a lot of things, and in a really nice area. Everyone at the hostel truly made me feel welcome. I will absolutely be coming back to this hostel for my next visit in Medellin :)
Un gran hostel localizado en un barrio muy bonito y cerca del metro para moverse en la ciudad.A 5 minutos de buenos restaurantes, cafeterías y un supermercado grande en el barrio La Floresta y en una zona segura. El hostel está en una casa que parece completamente remodelada y ofrece todas las comodidades como una cocina bien equipada y un living comunitario en el primer piso. Altamente recomendable.
A large hostel located in a very nice neighborhood and close to the metro to get around the city.A 5 minute walk from good restaurants, cafes and a large supermarket in the La Floresta neighborhood and in a safe area.The hostel is in a house that looks completely remodeled and offers all the amenities such as a well-equipped kitchen and communal living on the first floor.Highly recommended.

I was in this hostel for a very long time. I really appreciated the cleanliness, the large space& kitchen and the organization of Victor. I could improve my Spanish a lot and was able to get to know Colombians and people from around the world.
Un espacio increíble para hospedarse. Camas súper cómodas y los espacios muy limpios. Pude compartir con más huéspedes intercambiando idiomas, cocinando juntos y demás. Los host siempre con muy buena actitud y disposición siempre.
The location of this hostel is wonderful, in a safe family friendly neighbour very close the metro. Victor and Angie were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful. My only constructive feedback would be that the floors and bathrooms were not as clean as they could be. However, I had a lovely stay and appreciated the kindness of the hosts :).
