The stay was okay... the facilities could have been cleaner but staff was friendly. The bedding was clean but mattress had blood stains on it, which made me think that there was a bedbug infestation in the past (confirmed by a booking a few months prior to mine...). Be vigilent with Bari lodgings – this is the second time I visited and found traces of past bed bugs.

I slept here for 1 night and woke up at 5am covered in bed bug bites. The staff were nice enough to pay for my medication (I am allergic to these bugs and have endured this before) but the owner refused to offer a discount on the bed. Apparently the land lord didn’t believe they were bed bugs, passing them off as mosquito bites even though I found one in the bed! It seems that little was done to exterminate the mattress after I checked out as well so beware. I was in bed 2 room Asia.
