Green Sapa Homestay

Horrible place, mold everywhere, dirt, got completely different room then the one I payed for. No heating and terrible smell. When we reported this to the manager she told me I can book somewhere else if I don’t like it. Then I wrote a review on Google and the manager wrote that I’m lying at that situation never happen. Pls don’t book this place. We left in the middle of the night and needed to find some other hostel because it was so bad.

I didn’t like this hostel. The dorm feels more like a large shed or warehouse space, and it’s extremely cold in winter, with about fifteen mattresses on the floor. There’s no space to store or secure your belongings, and the sheets were not that clean. The bathrooms are rustic, and not very clean either. The only positive point is the girl at reception, who is absolutely lovely!

I stayed in one of the private rooms and there was NO HEAT. I was there during a particularly cold and rainy few days and my room was extremely cold as there was no heat source. When I asked reception they said the only way to keep warm was the blanket. The wooden door had a few small holes to the outside so cold air was directly coming in. WiFi was only ok. But very difficult to be comfortable in the room with it being so chilly.

Ms Tam fue encantadora y de gran ayuda. Fuimos a hacer hiking al día siguiente de la noche de hostel y pudimos dejar las mochilas allí. Una pena que todo esto no acompañe a la limpieza de la habitación. Sábanas muy sucias, puertas de habitación que no cierran bien y todo lleno de insectos muertos por las paredes sin limpiar. Creo que la habitación comunitaria es mucho mejor que las privadas.

Its an okay place to stay, but not if you're looking for a comfortable bed or a clean shower. The host is lovely and so is the breakfast

I only stayed 1 night in Sapa because it's an insanely commercialized, super-noisy, light-polluted town. The exact opposite of what one would expect to find in the mountains, to escape from Hanoi's urban chaos. When I shared this sentiment with the Guesthouse's manager, she laughed ironically, as if I was illogical. I found her to be too absorbed with her phone. The breakfast served was small, the bread was not fresh. The mattress was hard, the walls are thin and the room smelled of sewage.

Let us check-in really late which was great! There’s no privacy in the dorm and the washrooms weren’t the best. The breakfast was good and staff were nice!

Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit! Die Trekkingtour konnten wir spontan am Morgen buchen. Zusätzlich durften nach dem Auschecken noch länger die Betten etc benutzen. Der Homestay ist aufjedenfall empfehlenswert!

Great hostel beds for the price.Also booked mount fansipan with them had an incredible hike up and down.And even tho I checked out the hostel was really accommodating allowing me to leave my bag shower and chill until my night bus

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were so friendly and helpful, they really made us feel welcome. The room we stayed in is spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Je recommande totalement cet Hostel. Les lits sont très confortables, bonus ++ il y a des couvertures chauffantes. Le petit déjeuner est appréciable, le personnel agréable. Les seules points négatifs sont l’emplacement, un peu trop excentré, mais offre une très belle vue sur les montagnes de Sapa, et la sécurité qui, en effet n’est pas présente. Nous pouvons rentrer comme nous souhaitons dans la chambre, et nous n’avons aucun endroit pour laisser les affaires en sécurité.

Beds were very hard but warm with heated mattresses. It’s all open concept so there is no locking anything. The staff was very nice and took me to the store because I wanted to buy something. It’s a quaint space just out of town from sapa. Showers are in the bathroom that is outdoors for the shared dorm room.

I took the private room was a bit cold no aircon but it has the electric blanket.

Les lits sont chauffants, c’est superbe avec la température qui peut être froide au mois de janvier. Le déjeuner inclus est excellent, les portions sont parfaites et le personnel est attachant. Nous sommes quatre voyageurs et nous recommandons sincèrement cette auberge. Nous dormons dans les dortoirs de 20 lits et l’atmosphère est calme et silencieuse.

Incredible stay here! I spent 2 nights in a private, 2 in a dorm. Both were very nice and the dorm mattresses are full size beds which was great. The best part about this homestay is the staff, they are extremely nice and helpful. Would recommend 10/10

good, nice people

I had an excellent one night here. I was in the 20 bed dorm, there are double mattresses are on floor and each one has heated blanket. I likes that you got a bottle water and towel. Also the breakfast was good I had scramble eggs, bacon and bread. There was range of options. Also with homestay you can book range different treks. I did the Highland Harmony Trek with a local guide. This is convenient as starts and finishes at the homestay.

Great hostel. Nice bed a bit hard but comfy enough and had an electric blanket. Room was spacious and food was cheap. Breakfast also really good. Not much of a vibe in the evening but for somewhere just to sleep this place is great and affordable.
