   Honestly, the place is great and very close to the beach, which is a big plus. Just keep in mind it’s a bit of a walk to the village if you need things like hair products or to withdraw cash. Staff experience was mixed. The British guy and the woman at the beach reception were fine. However, one staff member at Nest Jungle was not helpful. After we extended our stay, she repeatedly asked if our booking was confirmed and entered our room without greeting or explanation, which made us uncomfortabl

   do yourself a favour and avoid staying here. We are not normally very picky people but this took it too far. We checked out 3 hours after we checked in because we couldn’t hack it. Bad locwtion, only relevant for nestival, no locks on dorm rooms leading to random people who aren’t even staying there coming into your room. It lacks cleanliness- when showering, small red worms crawled out of the tiles in the floor. Limited air con. Beds felt itchy when sat. If ur thinking of saving money- don’t.

   Had a very bad stay here honestly. In one night all of our stuff disappeared and after like two hours we found out that the staff took it as they made a booking mistake or something. Super annoying. I wanted to extend my stay for Saturday as the ticket price for nestival would be included (they said). But at the end they charged me 21 dollars for one night so ticket+dormprice. other travelers that book 3 nights right away didn’t have to pay that. Lilly is amazing tho she carries the whole hoste

   Good place to stay for nestival as ticket is included in price but it’s not too noisy. Beds were comfortable but facilities weren’t great. We didn’t have running water most of the day. Also because there were no locks on the doors we had strangers come in our room. Some people also spent the night in our room “for free” because they knew the hostel had no locks on doors. One person stayed in our room for 2 nights with no booking! Great location on beach though and good food :)))

   had staff banging on our door at about 2 in the morning all really drunk and shouting, came into our room, our outside door handle got broken off. a member of staff tried her hardest to get her colleagues to be quiet and leave the room so she could try & sort the door for us. then had another girl noisily come into our room claiming it was her room and someone was in her bed but she was in the wrong room so staff had to get her out. short walk to the beach tho which was good. no wifi in bedrooms

   Rats in the rooms. Theft from dorm rooms. Showers maybe 10% of them work properly. Overall, very terrible hostel. Food at the bar is probably worst I’ve had from a hostel. The volunteers are also very entitled/spoilt.
