L’hostel est certes bien situé, mais équipements vétustes, sol sale le douche n’en parlons pas. Propriétaire au première abord souriant et gentil mais c’est une personne violante qu’on a vu avoir deux altercations où ils en viennent au mains avec des personnes de l’hostel ou non. Beaucoup de personne extérieure présente. Je ne me suis pas sentie en sécurité et bien dans cet endroit.
The hostel is certainly well located, but the equipment is vétuste, the shower is not to mention. the owner at first glance smiling and kind but he is a violent person who we have seen have two altercations where they get into fights with people from the hostel or not. a lot of people from outside present. i did not feel safe and well in this place.
The hostel is noisy and there is no isolation. The terrace is above the bedrooms and often there is music or people walking around after midnight. There is a chicken farm behind the hostel which disturbs sleep at 4 am. The kitchen was not clean at all. The common areas are dirty and full of clutter and there is no clean space for people to sit. There are often locals sitting in the common area with children so the atmosphere is not nice for adult travellers.
I stayed in a 3 bed dormitory with two woman. It was very messy and untidy, I did not enjoy it at all. There is only 1 toilet and 1 shower, very weak water pressure. They didn't give a towel to have a shower 🚿 so I just didn't freshen up. The free breakfast was ok...I appreciated that.
Good price and well located, but in our opinion poorly managed. the common spaces were dirty(espec ially kitchen and fridge) and the promised breakfast was not always there, as the stuff was not there to prepare it. The receptionist was often drinking (from early morning), and often was letting his local friends to come in to get drunk and consume other substances. not very professional in our opinion...
This was a nice hostel for what you pay. Not the cleanest, but ran by a nice family

This is small house converted into a hostel. the family seems to live next door and only the woman in the morning that makes you breakfast and clean daily seems to really be knowledgeable to handle tours and other services or advices on things to do. it's on top of a chicken coop, so roasters will wake you up. cleanliness is so so because of the family dogs and cats. bring your own lock to close your room. the family is very friendly and we met good people at the shared breakfast table.

Music & Art Hostel is a place with soul.Super cozy atmosphere, amazing people and really good vibes. You feel at home from the first day. The terrace is perfect to relax and meet other travelers. Great location and friendly staff.Highly recommended to truly experience San Agustín!
amazing hostel!! das hostel selbst ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen (z.B. die Küche) dafür ist alles andere perfekt! insbesondere Stephen versucht alles, dass man sich rundum willkommen und herzlich begrüßt fühlt. der Vibe im Hostel ist super, die Lage perfekt und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis prrfekt für einen Trip nach San Agustin!

Nous avons passé un super séjour, et notamment une super soirée avec Steven et sa bande de copains ! Steven et sa famille sont adorables et serviables à toute heure du jour et de la nuit 🫶
We had a great stay, and especially a great evening with Steven and his band of friends! Steven and his family are adorable and helpful at all hours of the day and night

The hostel was perfect, clean and the stuff was really helpful. Especially, the kitchen had all necessary equipment and it was clean.
This was one of my favourite hostels. Steven is great behind bar and Alidia makes easily the best hostel breakfast going!!!! Would 100% stay here again
