Bed bugs and health issues in "Shanghai" room — Management issued a full refund I am writing this because I wish I had seen a similar review before booking; it would have saved my health and kept my trip comfortable. My stay was ruined by bed bugs in the "Shanghai" room on the 3rd floor. I woke up with multiple bites, which was a very distressing experience. Upon closer inspection, I found a lot of dirt and debris in the seams of the mattress and in the joints of the bed frame, which clearly shows a lack of proper cleaning. This situation seriously impacted my health: I had a fever, and I had to spend money on medications and ointments. Essentially, two days of my trip were completely lost because of this. It is also important to understand that bed bugs easily travel between rooms and through walls, so disinfecting just one room is useless. The entire building needs professional treatment. On a positive note, the management handled the situation professionally once I reported it and provided a full refund for my entire stay. While I appreciate the honest response, I cannot recommend this place until they perform a professional deep cleaning and pest control. Please check your mattress and bed seams upon arrival to protect your health.

Stayed here for a couple of days, the beds and room in general was nice but the floor wasnt clean. Checked immidetaly for bed bugs, found dark spots on one of the beds but didnt think it was bed bugs, days later one of us got multiple bites during the night and found what looked like bed bug skin in the pillow case, so we were most certain it was bed bugs. To make matters worse the bathroom got so much mold in the shower and around the sink. Now they did come in and clean the rooms but it didnt seem much cleaner afterwards. Only thing i noticed was cleaner was the mirror in the bathroom. No AC in the room and if your window is open sand will come inside, and there is a lot of street noice. Me and my class were on a school trip so i had no choice in where we stayed

Saw a huge rat and felt like there were bugs crawling all over me in the night. Not sure if they were fleas or mites or bed bugs. The fan was so loud that we couldn’t have it on and they didn’t have aircon.

Manager was not friendly, I had bedbugs and ask for them to change but rather was told to do it myself because housekeeping was done for the day. Unprofessional from the Manager’s side.

The breakfast was not made to my taste. Unfortunately the first night was okay, but second night the lady I was sharing the cubicle with was snoring the whole night so I didn't sleep at all. Something was biting me on the bed am not sure if it bed bugs..They need to improve more bed cleanness because it being used by many people.

Breakfast options need to be reconsidered. I had 8 night 4 in pod n 4 in private room.. The ventilation in pods needs attention as it's very hot. I have been feeling suffocated and was sweating all the time. The private room was clean The road has been very noisy since early morning. Saw a bed bug on bed linen last day. .
