   Solid hostel with great location, sweet rooftop. Staff working around the clock keeping everything clean. Big free breakfast. Only thing causing me to not give them a 10 rating is that like many hostels in the area the staff will try to force you to leave a review in front of them at the end which is awkward/annoying and inflates the review score but again most of the other ones do it so they kinda have to I guess

   When we arrived and AFTER making us pay full price, we were told the twin room we booked was not ready to receive guests so they moved us to another hostel in a room with a double bed (which we didn’t want) - though these things can happen, it was VERY dishonest to tell us this only after they made us pay, plus they refused to give a discount. The other hostel was not as nice at all (we had picked Riad Dia for the social areas), the room had no windows (!), the wifi didn’t reach the room, and it was noisy as right in front of the reception/living room. Very bad customer service - HONESTY upfront and even a small discount would have gone a long way. Edit: I see from reviews that this happened before, so seems they intentionally scam people…

   Great location and had a decent stay, but the staff intimidate people into leaving positive reviews before leaving. Take the super positive reviews with a grain of salt.

   Everything was great! I have read some review before a little bit negative about the staff, but must say, that the staff is very nice and helpfull <3 I really enjoyed my time at this amazing place! Best hostel I have been to in Marrakech.

   Worst place ever. Don't go there. Don't believe this fake rating they are putting. Read the review. Loud music all night, hard to sleep, bed uncomfortable. No AC. This place is very dirty. No cleaning (or maybe once a month) The staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional, never saw that bad any where others than here.

   The guy working at Riad Dia pressured me to write a 5-star review, so I’ll give an honest review. It’s an okay hostel; not the cleanest and a bit on the expensive side (they charge you more when you haven’t booked in advance). All in all an okay option for Marrakech en for meeting other backpackers.

   This is the second time I’ve stayed here when I arrived the second time one of the staff pressured me into leaving a perfect rating in front of him for my previous stay. Watch out when you’re paying they will claim you haven’t given them enough or say they’ll give you the change later then forget what you’re talking about. In saying this the location was great and it’s a very clean hostel with great hang out areas just take care.

   It’s conveniently located and it has a lively atmosphere. We saw some cockroaches and a street cat came into our room. So not the cleanest place. The things that separated the shower stalls from each other were falling off. The staff was terrible. The manager was rude, he screamed at one of the employees in front of me and made jokes that made me uncomfortable. He also asked me to complete the review in front of him and wouldn’t leave until I told him I did.

   Not safe for women, read the comments in google a few weeks ago. Apparently they tried to close 2 girls in rooms in two situations in September. Cockroachs are everywhere in the kitchen or toilets...no higiene at all. The people working there follows you if you go to the kitchen or if you go to the rooftop making weird checks on you as if you are doing something wrong for only being there. Also I was pressured to make 5stars review, for 3 times.Drinking not allowed.Book other hostel

    This hostel is not a place you want to spend a night at. The beds seem to be from 1900 and the mattresses might even be older, you cannot sleep there without getting back pain. The showers look and smell similar to an elephant cage, we have had to spent three nights there and didn’t make it to step in the shower because they’ve looked so unhygienic. There is also no quiet place in the hostel because some people stay downstairs till 2 am in the night talking and the rooms aren’t isolated enough so that you hear every word, same in the very morning, you’ll have struggle to sleep. All in all I don’t understand how people can leave a good review, it might be an opportunity for socializing but for having a peaceful stay it’s absolutely not recommended. The very worst thing is that I forgot my sneakers there, I’ve called them and they’ve told me they found them and I could come and pick them up. A couple days later I was there to do so, they made me wait 2 hours, lying to me and in the end they just gave me some bad excuses why they wouldn’t be able to give them back, they’ve stolen my shoes! Don’t trust this hostel as well as the reviews, pay some more money anderen have a peaceful mind
