The Clock Inn

We booked a private room and got bed bugs from here. We had bites all over us that have lasted for weeks. The place was old and a 20 min walk from the train station. The area was ok not great. The people were all nice. I would not stay here again.

My room had Bed bugs. Great location and staff. The 1 star was for the numerous bed bug bites I got. I didn’t notice the bites until I had left the country. I reported to them and requested a refund, whoever is handling the emails isn’t as professional and understanding as the front desk staff so I want to make sure they get their fair review for good service but in the reply I got it was not the best tone, I was told I should have reported it then, but how can I, the bites didn’t appear during my stay, then I was accused of blackmail because I stated that if I don’t get a refund I would be posting an honest review which I am now doing. I paid extra for a private room specifically because of the risk I know exists in sharing a room with strangers. I really expected a better response. I have several photos and video of the bites on my face and body.

Great staff, very friendly and accommodating 10/10 for them. The one star goes for Bed bugs, other than my apartment this is the only place I spend one night at!
