Pak-Up Hostel

Would recommend it here. If you don’t want to stay in Ao Nang but still want a social atmosphere this is your best bet. Much more of an authentic, less touristy location right by the food markets. Pool is lovely and free breakfast is great. Staff could have been a bit warmer but overall helpful. I did end up getting bed bugs here and got slightly annoyed when staff reacted so nonchalantly but they sponsored a wash and would still recommend it here nonetheless which speaks for itself

Location, activities, breakfast included. I was very dissapointed there were black dots in the bed blankets, meaning either there are bed bugs or there have been before, I did not get any bite but for sure the dots were bed bugs blood/feces from the past, I could see the blankets were washed, but those dots do not dissapear with washing, and I know it because I had bed bags at home twice due to shared room hostal so I became an expert on detecting it. I am very dissapointed of seeing many hostels in Thailand with this issue, PLEASE fumigate and discard blankets with black dots because this seriuously makes you loose money, it is a serious issue, it is impossible to get rid of them at least you fumigate rooms and wash blankets at very high temperature, hostels should pay more attention to this and fumigate often if neccesary, it may cost money but it cost more to loose guests due to this issue continuously!
