nice to have the pool from the hostel next door, very basic private room: bedbugs, probably just bad luck. perfect location walk straight out onto walking street. good for the price but could find better

They had bedbugs in the shared room. Not the best place to stay.

Saw a bed bug crawl behind my head as soon as I arrived.. quickly moved to another bed and wasn’t bitten but still not great. The fan didn’t reach the bed so it was boiling at night. Also, the owners husband (?) came in shouting at night at people being noisy which is fine but then woke me up whilst I was asleep and starting shouting at me?? Super scary as a female traveller. The main good thing is the location as it’s right on the Main Street but i’d suggest somewhere else…

BEDBUGS!!!! The staff is nice and we got our money back but don’t stay there if you don’t wanna share your bed with bedbugs… Location is great tho

Only pro was the location. I didn’t meet anyone and I had bed bugs. Please please do not stay here. The reception does not speak English so they couldn’t really help do not recommend

BED BUGS! Owners were very abusive towards me when I confronted them about the problem, even refusing to look at the photos and videos I had taken as proof and dismissing them entirely by telling me to delete them. They almost refused to refund me, but eventually did, and then screamed at me to get out. I should also mention how this place was COMPLETELY devoid of atmosphere - you could have more fun in a funeral parlour. There are hundreds of wonderful hostels to stay in Pai; Topp Paiway, Baan Mai Sak, Deejai etc. Do yourself a favour and stay at one of those places. Skip this one. This place is gross.

The stuff was very kind and they even made me a discount. However, afterwards I had to pay MANY TIMES the price for my accommodation in order to fight with the bedbugs that I got from there. These guys have to do something about it ! There are many reviews here about the bugs! I didn't have chance to read them in advance as I didn't have internet connection at this time and i found the hostel as it is just in the center of Pai. But they should do something urgently!

There were bedbugs when I was staying

*BEDBUGS december '22*. The location is perfect; close to the busstation and in the middle of the center. Sadly I discovered bedbugs when i was ready to go to bed. Got my money back, but because it was late I had no place to sleep (private rooms had been fully booked). They did offer me to stay in a different bed for free though, but I didn't feel comfortable staying in the room. Without that it would have been a nice stay! Altough there wasnt really a social atmosphere when I was there.

This hostel is perfect for location but there was no aircon so was very hard to sleep also there was a possibility of bedbugs :( the staff were really lovely though.

the hostel overall has a good location, nice staff and a clean feel. i booked for two nights but left in the middle of the first night due to finding bed bugs in my bed and on my things.

I stayed two nights in a private room and then asked to extend my stay by one night. The only option was a bed in dormitory room whic was fine. When I told at the reception that I want to extend my stay, I payed to the lady the day before I moved to the dormitory. The next day she asked me to pay again. We were arguing for few minutes, she was yelling at me in Thai and at the end she made me pay again. Also there were bed bugs and watter in the shower was dissapearing (even cold) NOT RECCOMENDED

De locatie was top en het was een heel rustig hostel. Helaas bedbugs zien lopen en erdoor gebeten dus let op!

Very nice hostel, balcony right next to the river and cheap! The staff didn't speak english but was very nice. Rooms were clean, no bed bugs.
