Compass Divers Hostel

I cannot comment on what it is like to dive with this company, however I stayed here for 3 nights in a 3-bed dorm. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Gili T. The breakfast, whilst basic, was very tasty and nutritious. I could not truthfully enjoy my stay here though due to the bed bug problem in the dorm. I would wake up every day with tens of fresh bites. In the 20+ hostels I've stayed at, I have never encountered a bed bug problem this bad. It was extremely frustrating to deal with. This issue definitely needs to be looked at and I'm surprised I've not seen it mentioned in any other reviews. If the bed bugs could be dealt with, this could definitely be a 5 star hostel.

Genuinely hate to write bad reviews… but I had to leave this hostel as soon as I checked in. Found bed bugs in two of the beds (was the only guest in that dorm so was told I could choose whichever). Reported this to reception who unfortunately showed absolutely no concern. I wasn’t even fussed about a refund, just had to let them know so they could sort it for other guests! Shame as it seemed a lovely little hostel and the diving staff were pretty friendly.
