Da Lat Mr.Happy Homestay

I tried to write a review on hostel world but my trip had been cancelled. Unfortunately we had a bad experience here. In our room (especially my friend's bed) there was a bed bug infestation. We tried to tell Mr. Happy about it as we woke up with many bites (my friend currently still has so many) and we were told it was the washing powder or another bug. It was definitely nothing to do with the washing powder as the bedsheets did not smell or feel clean. Thankfully we were moved into a private room but it didn't feel great that nobody would believe us. I have unfortunately experienced them in other hostels whilst travelling previously and know what to check for. I checked the mattresses at Mr. Happy and there was a big patch of black marks on my friend's bed which is a sign of infestation. Really sorry to make this review but it was very unpleasant and it left a bad taste in my mouth knowing that my stay was cancelled on hostel world so I couldn't comment on it. This could be such a wonderful hostel if this was sorted out!

Mr Happy ist super lieb und hilfsbereit. Er hat eine Tagestour mit uns gemacht, die sehr cool war. Unser Zimmer war leider nicht so sauber und es waren kleine Tierchen (Bettwanzen?) im Bett.
