Avis completIf you're a woman thinking about staying at this hostel: be prepared for feeling unsafe and dealing with bugs. I booked a mixed dorm but I specifically asked in the notes for at least one other woman, something that’s a standard practice in hostels, but they ignored it. I arrived to find myself in a room with FIVE MEN. I felt so unsafe and panicked for the obvious reasons as a 26-year-old girl traveling alone. I begged them to fix it and after crying they finally moved me to a basement room, which was fine for me because at least I felt safe. The next day I found MULTIPLE bugs in the room, we were so grossed out and went immediately to the front desk, they promised a deep clean. But when I returned at the end of the day, the room was UNTOUCHED. I went back again, and the guy at the desk told me he was already giving me options (the bug infested room or going back with the 5 men), I told him those weren't decent options, we started arguing and he simply *raised his voice at me*!!!! then I started making a scene and just after 3 other girls showed up to understand what was happening and support me, he "found" a new room for me. The next day I slept in another city because I just couldn't be there. This kind of unprofessional, careless treatment is insane. The hotels in the city during the festival were crazy expensive, so nowhere to go - basically terrifying. Not to mention the bathrooms are mixed, not clean, the water doesn't run for long so you need to shower constantly pressing it, and at least on the 3rd floor the lights go off after a few minutes and you shower in the dark. No one should go through this so I'd never recommend this place especially to women traveling alone.

Also many guests including us got our food stolen.

Avis completWe got to sleep in bunkbeds with three beds on top of each othe instead of two. The top bed was wobbly, every time someone beneath you moved it was like an earthquake simulator. Also many guests including us got our food stolen. During late night, there were ants in the entire kitchen, including the cabinets where people stored their food. There was one toilet per floor and there was s##t on the entire toilet seat multiple times. At least it was close to the train station so we could leave fast.

my food got stolen from the fridge in the few short hours it was there

Avis completEverything was clean, staff were friendly, beds were comfy, my food got stolen from the fridge in the few short hours it was there, not really any opportunities to socialise, the showers turn off after 10 seconds and the lights go off within a minute so you can’t really shower at night unless it’s in the dark
