Couldn't check-in but had to pay anyway, didn't enjoy searching for last-minute acommodation in -20° weather

Un quartier unsafe avec beaucoup de toxicomanes Un établissement lugubre Les chambres sont très mal insonorisées, les lits avec des matelas affreux. I have paid 160 dollars to spend one night in a 4bed dorm, with bad quality bed (180cm long), small space and no ventilation in the bedroom. A blue led for the usb plug was steady on in my eyes for the whole night without the possibility to switch it off. Only one toilet for the entire floor and out of service. Breakfast included does not complement the general bad experience. The dishes in the kitchen available for the breakfast were all very dirty.

Hostel situé dans quartier animé, très sympa Personnel agréable Néanmoins, beaucoup d’itinérants à proximité, peut mettre en inconfort même s’il n’y a pas d’agressivité. Commodites de l’hostel à revoir néanmoins, gros bémol : humidité dans les chambres, odeur dérangeante, douche vieillissante avec uniquement un rideau, un seul toilette par étage. Certes Toronto est réputée pour être chère mais il ne s’agit plus de faire du nivellement par le bas. L’hoste...

Don't stay here. Sheets on the bed were dirty. Very noisy. Private rooms surrounded by bathrooms, availing one to hearing other guest releaving themselves. Doors on bathrooms, rooms, stairs slam shut & echoing hallways. Toilets are loud, no hand towels, hand air dryer very loud. Towels were stained. Breakfast 90% wheat products & over ripe bananas. Bathroom not cleaned often, one toilet per floor per gender. Building surrounded by homeless, urine stained sidewalks & rat infested trash heaps.

They still owe me money they took off my credit card, I’ve been trying to contract them but it’s got nowhere to go

Too expensive for what you get

Be Aware of BedBugs! One of the dirtiest hostels I have ever been! The rooms and washrooms were nasty! I changed my booking on the next day because I couldn’t stay in that dirtiness anymore. So it’s too expensive for what it offers.

I had a great experience there as a solo traveler !

Great option due to its location. Comfortable beds. The hostel itself is pretty quiet as there aren’t daily party related activities offered but there are a lot of options for nightlife activities just steps outside. I just felt the showers were a little small. Other than that, zero complaints.

Good facilities and helpful staff especially my boy Costa

The breakfast was big and the staff was nice. Facilities definitely okay and in general the location is also. Liked it more than their other ones.

The Hostel is really nice, the location is the best with so many restaurants and Bars

Une très bonne auberge! Seule chose! Kensington market est très fun et génial le jour, mais le soir, le quartier deviens un peu épeurant. Beaucoup de personnes saoules ou droguées rodent autour de l'auberge, surtout avec les services sociaux qui sont juste à côté.

Sehr freundliches Personal :-) Das frühstück war okay, dafür waren die Betten bequem und durch einen Vorhand hat man seine Privatsphäre. Die umgebung ist mit Bars Restaurants und einigen Läden umgeben

Stayed in private room. Everything was fine for a couple of nights for the most part. The tiny towels and not the best water pressure in showers only minor issue.

Nice hostel, the breakfast is good and the coffee was amazing! I went during a storm winter and was nice to be in the hostel with the atmosphere and the facilities!

Great people!

Only stayed one night and arrived late but seemed nice enough. Friendly guys at reception. Bed was very comfy and warm. Peeked into the common area/kitchen and looked great. Was during a snowstorm but it was easy enough to wander and find some bars nearby. Easy to get to the hostel via public transport from Union station

It’s okay to stay only for a few days. There were few things I didn’t like in this hostel. My room was 4th floor, but there was no lift. Also this hostel is not social, not friendly for backpackers.

I didn’t realized I stayed here before. I also stayed in the one in LA by the beach But this one in Toronto seems much bigger. I liked both locations though. Good staff even though my bed wasn’t done when I got there due to possible reason of someone switched bed when it was available. But the staff handled it well and he took cares of me.
