   • He then returned less than a minute later with a baseball bat and fly kicked one of the boys. He then was effectively stabbing us with a baseball and threatening to swing whilst smiling.

   Attacked by a local/staff member with a baseball bat! We stayed in the hostel for 2 nights, price great, location great, room alright. We returned to the hostel on the second night, a girl was throwing up out of a window and it splashed us. We obviously weren’t pleased so shouted at her to go to the toilet. We went upstairs and passed the room which was when a Thai man came out of the room and told us to ‘wait there’ whilst smiling. He then returned less than a minute later with a baseball bat and fly kicked one of the boys. He then was effectively stabbing us with a baseball and threatening to swing whilst smiling. Thankfully security got in the way but seemed to know the crazy Thai man and others we’d met on the island said they experienced the same thing but with a samurai sword & the bat. The hostel itself is fine, just be wary of the nut job and the fact that he was gone for less than a minute before returning with a weapon.

   Staff were amazing at this location, music and fun activities every night we were there. Unfortunately a group of girls in our room ruined the experience for us, one was having sex in the dorm the first night, another night kept up until 4am in the morning with the security in and out of the room.

   Insanely loud music, dirty rooms, no curtains and they put me as a female in a room with 5 guys. I felt very uncomfortable during my stay. Would not recommend this hostel.

   DO NOT STAY HERE!! the ac doesn't work in most of the rooms and isn’t on for long. the toilets were broken 90% time of the 4 nights, , only one shower worked and was gross. Smelled terrible no curtains had wholes in the walls. good for the party scene/ boat party is great but there was a hostel worker named Finny who has been there for years, He is really creepy with girls and extremely rude to guys. I don’t understand how he hasn’t been fired yet. also had money stolen at hostel.

   Do not stay here if you’re not going out every single night. The beach bar music goes on til 3am (despite nobody being there) you may as well be by the speaker. The shower flooded and never goes down, ran out of toilet paper, rubbish all over the beach, and hostel reps entering rooms. One knock and entering with a key card despite nobody getting chance to open doors, this happened at the blanco in krabi too, no privacy what so ever , being harassed to take shots. Not on.

   Location is great but shower and toilet facilities are quite bad. I would advise if you like to party to just stay somewhere else but come to Blanco for the festivities. Also one of their staff, Apple was incredibly rude and borderline harassment, I can’t believe they would let someone like her work there. She is supposed to be the ‘nurse’ on the boat party but is high the whole time. The other staff were fine.

   WOMEN PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE. I stayed here in December and a member of the Blanco's staff who operates boat tours violently attacked me and refused to leave my room. I reported it but Blanco's didn't do anything
