Bala Stay Uluwatu

checkin - terrible - no person on site, had repeated issues with getting a key. Security - door is not self lock so relies on others locking it, it’s literally a room open to a road, anyone could walk in. Facilities - good clean facilities, however adding personal bed light and shelf would be good, plus the showers need hooks for clothing/towels Not social at all, no common area. Would not stay here as a solo traveller again. Would be ok if you just need a bed and been here bef...

I don't often leave bad reviews but this place is very weird... It's basically just a room on the side of the road with absolutely no common area or anywhere to sit down & relax etc..... I suggest staying elsewhere in Uluwatu!

The place itself is simple and clean and such good value for money. Really clean, nice showers and spacious shared bathroom. But it’s very in the middle of nowhere! You deffo need a scooter or rely on Gojek services. I arrived late at night, nobody was around, one security guard helped me get in after a struggle with finding the door code even though they knew I was arriving around 1am. Would o my recommend staying here for 1 night as it’s comfortable but not really ideal for much else.

Basically brand new place in a killer location for such a good price! This isn't really a hostel but more of just a bed, no real common space or people interacting. There is no official desk just a person you message. Definitely one of the more "odd" places I've stayed but just because it was like pristine. Would definitely stay again, don't be worried about the low review count its just new.

Brand new and super nice. Hot water and comfy beds with curtains. Perfect quiet area
