Staff were very friendly but the property needs updating. The beds and wall often had small ants, the ladders to top bunk barely fit one foot. Only a code to the front door, not a lot of protection. The bathroom / toilet is in one and only 2 on a floor between 12-16 people. They need updating and cleaning better.
+ Lits confortables
I’m surprised this gets good reviews! It is not a social hostel, gets really hot during the day, isn’t kept particularly clean. There are only four bathrooms for the hostel and they’re kept quite wet and humid as well. There is mold on almost all the ceilings — a safety concern.
Toilets were a bit smelly and gross and there was ants around the beds in the room. Staff were lovely though and good tours and transportation.
Very 50/50 on this. The beds were so comfy but you have to leave your bags outside the hostel room. Being on the ground floor anybody could have walked in and just taken them. Your shoes are left on the street on the main road too. Valuable boxes are also on the ground floor outside the room with holes in so anybody can see what you have in there
Overall, it was a good hostel. However, it’s worth noting that the toilets are located inside the shower cubicles, and there are only two of them upstairs. This can be a bit inconvenient in the morning when everyone is getting ready, if both showers are in use, you can’t use the toilet. Also, no top sheet is provided for the duvet, which we found unhygienic. On the bright side, the mattresses were comfortable.

Nice and modern Hostel, you should bring your own sleeping bag though, unless you want to use a blanket that probably rarely gets changed. Other than that I have nothing to criticise
The Hostel was awesome! Especially the staff! The were so nice and went out of their way to help us. The hostel itself was very nice and clean and had nice beds (they reminded me of capsule hostel and gave a lot of privacy) and and bathrooms. The only issue I saw, was that the rooms were not locked and you only got a key for a tiny locker (way to small to put your backpack in).

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in a long time. We left our bags here a few times while heading to Don Det and doing the Pakse Loop, and always felt completely safe. The staff are really kind and super helpful with booking buses and anything else you need. It’s a really relaxed place and you can tell they genuinely care about their guests. Would definitely recommend.

Good hostel with a very helpful staff. I must say the bathrooms were very dirty with a bad smell all the time, that’s the only very big negative point.
amazing staff such good vibes. Rooms also lovely. overall great stay
perfect if you just need a place to stay, love the pod style of the beds, feels very private. however if you’re looking to be social and meet friends, i didn’t get the impression that that would be very easy there.
Stayed here twice before and after doing the Bolaven Loop, manager and his assistant were very helpful with booking bikes and explaining the route, provided good links with onward travel too. Manager also went the extra mile when I had an injury. Minor issue with the hostel was flooded bathrooms other than that it was perfect
I didn't really had the time to chill around hostel as i was just there for one day but i absolutely would be back one day. My bus arrived earlier than expected and i was okey with waiting but they proposed that i can check in faster as they had the bed ready. They also booked the transport to Vietnam for me, which was super nice of them! And also were helpful after my check out as i couldn't find my powerbank and even were going to search in the city ! Honestly, thank you so much !
Great place to stay, it’s on a side road so it’s quiet and not directly on the Main Street. Super friendly staff and they were helpful on where to go/what to do. Everything was clean and the bed was spacious.
+ The people that work there are the kindest. They are patient and help you with whatever question you have. I felt welcome. They even helped me getting more data on my simcard. And sat down with me to help me with my day in champansak. Also he gave me electrolytes because I just had food poisoning. They don't have to do these things but they do. And this separates them from the other hostels in pakse.
- There was no soap, no toiletpapier. Both doors to the female dorm arent blacked out nor have a curtain. So it's light in the dorm all night. This can be easily fixed =) The night I was there it was Chinese new year, so I can't say anything about quiet... They do their best to help create a quiet environment, but even footsteps make a hard sound on the wood and that vibrates through into your bed.
