Première expérience d’auberge de jeunesse pour ma part donc je suis peut être un peu exigeante 😉 On a pris une chambre familiale avec SDB privée . La SDB est vraiment très petite il ne faut pas être trop grand ou trop gros. 180€ la nuit pour 4, ce n’est pas donné qd même au vu des prestations. Mais sinon les propriétaires sont très sympa et ça fait le taf pour une ou deux nuits.

The staff were very chatty and available whenever we needed. Going so far as recommending a beach to visit. Our room was very basic, no hand soap, no hand towel in the bathroom. Door needed a good push to open. Wall was dirty and there was a funky smell even after airing room and leaving the window open. The bathroom door doesn’t open fully as it is such a small room. Probably a bit pricey for the services they offer and the place needs a makeover to match the amazing energy of the owners!

Notre séjour s'est bien déroulé dans l'ensemble, l'hôte est très sympathique et aidant. Malgré cela, la propreté n'était pas au top mais cela était dû plus à notre collocation qu'à l'établissement. Le salle de bain et la chambre étaient trop petites pour quatre personnes. Un peu plus de choix variés au petit déjeuner serait bienvenu (jus, fruits, plus de choix de confiture).

It’s quite far from Galway. If you don’t have a car you have to buy a ticket for the bus (only cash or online not with credit card) and it’s not cheap and ask the driver to pull you off in front of the hostel. It’s not very clean (you’ll find spiders and other insects in the toilets). No soap in the toilets. Late in the afternoon it’s not easy to sleep since it’s quite noisy.

Serene place away from the city along the coast. Staff was more than welcoming!

Lovely little place and kind owner. Clean and cozy rooms and omg the bedding/duvet is so so good! each room has their own shower and toilet so that's a big plus. Breakfast could do with a bit more variety but other than that top stay!

Affordable stay and great service. The beach is gorgeous. For traveling by bus the bus stops in the front of the hostel

A very nice hostel right next to the coast and a lso a marvelous view from the small terrace in the back. Very nice host and a very reasonable price.

Stayed at the Seaview Lodge for 4 Nights, such a nice place to stay peaceful and quiet and the hosts were great, i would highly reccomend staying here.

Lovely welcoming family vibe, with perfect location for a relaxing break.

One of the best hostel/lodge stays I have ever lived in. The hosts were absolutely friendly and very welcoming I must say. The vibe in the property throughout was amazing. The host family were always on their toes to check on their guests for their comfort and convenience. Additionally great location if you plan to visit the Aran islands or around. Keep it up Sea view lodge. Highly recommend.

The hosts are just so lovely and helpful! We felt warmly welcomed by the family and I really felt they cared a lot for their guests. The hostel is in a beautiful quiet location but actually very easy to go as the bus 424 from Galway passes right at their front door. Great place, 10/10 would recommend!

The staff are very friendly and the environment is very welcoming. The only problem for me was the location is about 30-45 minute bus ride to the city and takes a chunk of time out of your day. The scenery is beautiful tho!!

John and Jason are the best possible hosts, you will immediately feel so welcome ! The hostel was really nice too, the rooms and communal areas are clean. There also is a kitchen to cook your own food. If you don’t have a car, a bus will drop you right in front of the hostel and it also goes to Rossaveel where you can catch a ferry to the Aran Islands. There also is a really nice walk around the hostel. If you do have a car, it is a really good place from which you can discover the Connemara, ...

Loved staying here. The hosts,Jason and Veronica, were awesome. So lovely. The place was clean and well looked after and a decent price. I was driving so was able to park there but believe there is a bus that gets you there from Galway. And the bonus prize was a beautiful beach a 5 ish min walk away. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend

Well, well, well... Three Galicians went on a two-week motorbike trip around Ireland. We had booked for two nights at Seaview Lodge, but in the end we stayed for five... Why? Because of all the good things about the service: the rooms, the cleanliness, the great breakfast... but also because of everything that can't be paid for with money: the kindness, the closeness, the smiles, the joy and the ever-present good humour. A lovely little hostel about 45 mins from Galway city. The staff are super friendly and everything was very tidy. The Aran Islands and Galway city are easily accessible by bus. I'll definitely be back!

I had a very nice stay, the hosts were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They let me keep my bicycle in a secure spot in the back. It's not fancy but a great value for the money, highly recommended.
