Ivory Tower Hostel

There were bedbugs in the room. I went to the next room and there were bedbugs there too. I went to the room upstairs and there were bedbugs there too. I left the hostel at 3 a.m. without any sleep and went to the train station to sleep. Even spending the night in the train station in the noodle shops seemed like a luxury to me. There were insects crawling all over my clothes and in my backpack. I still have bites and itching all over my body. I paid extra to the hammam and laundry... :(((

The hostel was overbooked but the host was able to accommodate me and my partner. The beds we received were uncomfortable convertible couch beds. We did not have a door and had to sleep with the curtains closed. The beds were FILLED with bed bugs. We found a new place to stay, but the host was able to give us a real room after. We checked the new beds and they also had bed bugs!! The showers were dirty. The host originally seemed nice but when I talked to him one on one he was off putting. 👎👎👎
