Tamcoc Backpack Chill Hostel

Okay hostel … fine if you want a cheap bed to sleep in (hostel was clean, staff were helpful, bathrooms facilities were good, but beds weren’t very comfortable and very thin blanket, no good common area) … wouldn’t recommend for solo travellers trying to meet people.

Good hostel. The rooms were clean and modern and I liked staircase up to top bunks. Not a huge fan of under the bed lockers but they were fine. The locks werent very secure. Showers got nice and hot and bathrooms were modern and clean. There is not a great common area especially when its raining. Only some eating areas and the pool table area. No comfortable couches to relax on. Could use some organized social tours or music to make the atmosphere better.

Room/ bed shapes are really weird and causes very tight spaces in the rooms…

Very unfriendly staff at the reception, laundry took 2 days instead of one and cost more than it said on their fact sheet, wifi is not good and the doors to the rooms are very loud. It‘s in the center though and even though you have showers/toilets only in the hallway, there‘s enough for everyone and you don‘t have wet feet when entering the room.

Nice showers and nice beds. Lovely staff. No one really goes in the pool and it’s not sociable at all. But it’s a nice place to stay and really good value for money, we rented bikes too

Das Personal war nett und es gab eine 24/7 Rezeption, was zum einchecken in der Nacht besonders praktisch war. Die Bäder wurden jeden Morgen ordentlich geputzt. Leider hat unser Zimmer stark gestunken, was aber scheinbar an einer anderen Gästin lag. Durch die fehlenden Fenster konnte man dagegen aber leider nichts tun. Wir fanden es auch schade, dass es kein kostenloses Wasser gab. Um zum Hostel zu kommen, muss man zwar durch eine etwas shady Gasse laufen aber es ist sehr zentral gelegen.

Sehr nices Hostel, die Dorms haben mir sehr gut gefallen! Gute Lage! Personal war freudlich hat uns viele Tips gegeben!

Amazing place to stay, great breakfast!!

Staff were super helpful and spoke good english. The hostel is in a great spot, right next to tam coc river and in the midst of all the restaurants and stores. The rooms were super clean and had ample room for storage. Bathrooms and showers were cleaned often too.

Had such a nice stay here! The rooms were quite spacious and so clean!! The only negative is that the bathroom can get quite hot and humid, but otherwise it was a wonderful stay!

Great place to stay! Not party but super social and brilliant facilities. Bathrooms very clean and lots of toilets and showers so no waiting around, location great with plenty of trip options aswell

I wasn’t expecting anything from the hostel as was only staying 1 night and enjoyed it so much! The pool is nice and it is quite social and calm. Great location, bathrooms were nice, beds were comfy and the staff were very helpful!

super nice hostel, litrally the best showers, everything was so clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The ac stayed on all the time aswell which was nice. isn’t much of a social atmosphere but still found it easy to socialise in the common areas!

Een schoon, goed geregeld hostel met alles wat je nodig kan hebben. Geen sociaal hostel, en het zwembad is op een ongemakkelijke plek. Goedkope motorverhuur en alle excursies en transport kan ter plaatse worden geboekt.

Clean bathrooms with so many showers and toilets, comfy beds, doors that actually lock, a small locker and big locker per bed, very friendly and helpful staff. Ideal for me - not super social in my experience but a very comfortable stay.

Great stay! Amazing facilities, very clean and brilliant location. Loads of trips and transport options. It was a bit hard to make friends because the dorms aren’t that social but would definitely recommend staying here

Das Hostel war sehr sauber und die Mitarbeiter alle freundlich. Die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet mit Vorhängen und Kammern für die Rucksäcke. Außerdem waren im Waschraum viele Duschen und Toilette.
